Electrical Commissioning Engineer Long term contract opportunity

Reporting to the Lead Electrical


Commissioning Engineer you will be
responsible for the management and
supervision of Electrical Commissioning
Engineers and Technicians in the
commissioning of all project electrical
facilities and distribution systems.
Role & Responsibilities;

Deliver fully the project expectations


on Health Safety and Environment
(HSE).

Supervise a multi-national
commissioning team of electrical
technicians.

Along with Discipline Engineers plan


and schedule daily work activities for
technicians as well as progress
reporting. Assist with compilation of
Livening Up Notices (LUNS)

Attend site Job Hazard Assessment


meetings and participate in level 2 risk
assessments

Ensuring all electrical commissioning


personnel carry out their work safely
and are fully trained in accordance

with site Permit-to-Work (PTW)


procedures.
Act as the commissioning
representative at electrical Mechanical
Completion (MC) walk-downs and
compile punch-lists in accordance with
project specifications
Undertake Performing Authority duties
in accordance with PTW procedure
Responsible for implementing,
execution and completion of electrical
pre-commissioning activities.
Responsible for the safety and
management of all electrical
commissioning personnel and vendor
representatives under their control
when on-site
Overall responsibility for managing
the As-building of electrical
documents in accordance with the
project procedure
Responsible for reporting and
updating electrical pre-commissioning
progress into the project completions
documentation system.
Responsible for the planning,
coordinating, executing and
supervising handover of electrical
facilities from mechanical completion,

commissioning completion and startup through to handover to operations.

Key Technical Skills, Qualifications &


Experience includes;

A proven track record of


commissioning and start-up of
electrical systems on onshore Oil and
Gas, Petro-Chemical, or Power
Industry facilities.

Demonstrates supervising staff and


managing sub-contractors experience

A proven track record of planning and


executing construction or
commissioning various electrical
systems, including but not limited

Hold a recognised Electrical


Qualification

Compex Electrical Equipment in


Hazardous Area Certificate (Desirable)

High Voltage switching operations


competency training

Must be able to demonstrate technical


and practical competence, under
assessment by the company Technical
Authority, to take up the role of
Authorised Electrical Person at low
voltage and high voltage levels.
