receptividade obtida na primeira turma, resolvemos dar continuidade a esse projeto no Ponto
dos Concursos.
A ideia de adaptar a tcnica de Mapas Mentais para concursos pblicos surgiu quando,
durante nossa preparao para o concurso do Tribunal de Contas da Unio, nos deparamos
com a enorme quantidade de matrias cobradas e o vasto volume de informaes a serem
adquiridas. Naquela poca, duas indagaes fundamentais ocorreram: como aprender todo o
contedo em um prazo razovel? e como internalizar toda a matria?. Criar mapas mentais
foi a forma que encontramos para superar essa tarefa quase sobre-humana.
Os Mapas Mentais so esquemas que, elaborados na forma de organograma, abordam
todo contedo da disciplina exigido em concursos pblicos. Por facilitarem a organizao
mental da matria estudada, representam um meio eficaz para a assimilao e a memorizao
do conhecimento.
Dentre as inmeras vantagens que os Mapas Mentais proporcionam, destacamos a
possibilidade de organizar todo o contedo das disciplinas de forma estruturada,
partindo do gnero para as espcies, dos ttulos para os subttulos. Dessa forma, voc obtm
a viso global da matria, partindo da viso geral para os detalhes.
Os mapas proporcionam, ainda, uma comparao entre as caractersticas das espcies
de mesmo gnero, algo muito cobrado em provas de concursos, e possibilitam o
encadeamento e a associao de ideias. Essa forma de esquematizao permite realar os

Alm disso, o uso dos Mapas Mentais faz com que utilizemos os dois hemisfrios do
crebro, inclusive partes que no costumamos usar com frequncia nos estudos, como as que
cuidam de nossa memria espacial, visual, e da criatividade. Isso faz com que as sinapses
cerebrais sejam ainda mais fortalecidas, consolidando a memria de longo prazo e
multiplicando a capacidade de absoro.
Tendo em vista o enorme volume de matrias cobradas nos editais dos mais variados
concursos pblicos, percebemos que, para acessar esse vasto conhecimento na hora da prova,
no eficiente estudar de forma confusa e em muitos livros. A soluo para aprender todo o
