GOD LOVES

ROMAN CATHOLICS
AND THEY ALSO
CAN HAVE
ASSURANCE OF
SALVATION !
DEAR ROMAN CATHOLIC FRIEND, LET ME ASK
YOU, ARE YOU SAVED? IF YOU WERE TO DIE
TODAY, THEN ARE YOU 100% SURE THAT YOU
WOULD THEN BE GOING
STRAIGHT TO HEAVEN?
YOU MAY SAY, THAT NOBODY CAN SAY THAT
THEY ARE SAVED & THAT FOR A PERSON TO
SAY THAT THEY ARE SAVED IS TO HAVE
PRESUMPTION UPON THE MERCY OF GOD.
HOWEVER ...
WHAT IF YOU WERE TO FIND THAT THE
BIBLE TEACHES (IN MANY PASSAGES) THAT
A PERSON , IN THE PRESENT TENSE,
CAN HAVE ETERNAL LIFE?
WOULD THAT BE GOOD NEWS FOR YOU?
YOU TOO CAN DISCOVER THAT YOU CAN
HAVE ASSURANCE OF HAVING ETERNAL
LIFE NOW, BUT IN ORDER FOR THAT
YOU MUST COME TO GOD ON HIS TERMS,
AND ON HIS TERMS ONLY!

What does the Bible say?

(All Bible Quotations, Unless Otherwise Noted, Will Be From The King
James Version Of the Bible, however I will even point these facts out
from the 1899 Douay-Rheims Bible [Of The Catholic Church], to make
the points clear
to the Roman Catholics who are seeking the Truth).
JOHN 3:16-18, 36.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world
through him might be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned
already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of
God." -John 3:16-18

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the
Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." -John 3:36

"For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son: that whosoever believeth in him
may not perish, but may have life everlasting.
For God sent not his Son into the world, to judge the world: but that the world may be saved by
him.
He that believeth in him is not judged. But he that doth not believe is already judged: because he
believeth not in the name of the only begotten Son of God." -John 3:16-18. (Catholic DOUAY
RHEIMS VERSION).

"He that believeth in the Son hath life everlasting: but he that believeth not the Son shall not see
life: but the wrath of God abideth on him." -John3:36. (Catholic DOUAY RHEIMS
VERSION).

JOHN 4:10.
"Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is
that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would
have given thee living water." -John 4:10.

"Jesus answered and said to her: If thou didst know the gift of God and who he is that saith to
thee: Give me to drink; thou perhaps wouldst have asked of him, and he would have given thee
living water." -John 4:10. (Catholic DOUAY RHEIMS VERSION).

JOHN 5:24.
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that
sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed
from death unto life." -John 5:24.

"Amen, amen, I say unto you that he who heareth my word and believeth him that sent me hath
life everlasting: and cometh not into judgment, but is passed from death to life." -John 5:24
(Catholic DOUAY RHEIMS VERSION).
JOHN 6:35-37, 47-48.
"And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never
hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in
no wise cast out." -John 6:35-37.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
I am that bread of life." -John 6:47-48.

"And Jesus said to them: I am the bread of life. He that cometh to me shall not hunger: and he
that believeth in me shall never thirst.
But I said unto you that you also have seen me, and you believe not.
All that the Father giveth to me shall come to me: and him that cometh to me, I will not cast
out." -John 6:35-37. (Catholic DOUAY RHEIMS VERSION).

"Amen, amen, I say unto you: He that believeth in me hath everlasting life.
I am the bread of life." -John 6:47-48 (Catholic DOUAY RHEIMS VERSION).

John 7:37-39
"In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried,
saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He
that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly
shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit,
which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy
Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet
glorified.) -John 7:37-39.

"And on the last, and great day of the festivity, Jesus stood and cried,
saying: If any man thirst, let him come to me and drink. He that
believeth in me, as the scripture saith: Out of his belly shall flow rivers of
living water. Now this he said of the Spirit which they should receive who
believed in him: for as yet the Spirit was not given, because Jesus was not
yet glorified." -John 7:37-39 (Catholic DOUAY RHEIMS VERSION).
In John 6:53-54
Jesus Christ said , "... Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of
the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth
my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up
at the last day."

• According to the Roman Catholic Interpretation of John 6:40, 53-54-56, does the one
who takes the sacrament of the Eucharist HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE & will also be
raised at the last day?

It`s important thing to note that : CONTEXT - TEXT = CON.

If you look at the context of these two verses, do you find that the Lord Jesus Christ is talking LITERALLY
or SPIRITUALLY in John 6:53-54?
Consider the CONTEXT VERSES SURROUNDING verses 53 & 54 in John Chapter 6.
• In John 6:27 we are told not to labour for meat which can perish. The Bread of the Eucharist can
decay & get moldy.
• In John 6:28-29 we are told that to work the works of God (to do God`s will), we are to believe
(trust) on Jesus, whom God the Father hath sent.
• According to John 6:35-37, 40, 44, 47-48, 50-51, 52, 55-56, 58, 63, 64-65, 68-69 is it true that the
unbelieving Jews misunderstood what Jesus meant in this incident, by thinking He meant it
literally? Why would it NOT be feasible to say that the words "eat" & "drink" used in this
passage are synonyms for believing (trusting) in Jesus Christ & coming to Him? Can "eat" &
"drink" therefore mean the same as "to partake of"?
• "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the
words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life. But
there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the
beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray
him. And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come
unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father."-John 6:63-65.
With these concluding words Jesus clarified that verses 53-54 are meant in a spiritual
sense.

Consider Also The Greater Context Of Scripture.

• The proper CONTEXTUAL BASED INTERPRETATION of John 6:58 is consistent

with the rest of True Scripture (John 6:63-66; Acts 16:31; ROMANS 14:17; 1 COR 8:8.

• "But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we

the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse." -1Corinth 8:8.

• "But meat doth not commend us to God. For neither, if we eat,

shall we have the more: nor, if we eat not, shall we have the less." -
1Corinth 8:8.
• "Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me
the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O
LORD God of hosts." -Jeremiah 15:16.
"Thy words were found, and I did eat them, and thy word was to me a
joy and gladness of my heart: for thy name is called upon me, O Lord
God of hosts.

Obviously Jeremiah 15:16 doesn`t literally mean eating the Bible. The
Bible also often has figures of speech where CONTEXT & COMMON
SENSE demand it.

ACTS 2:21.
"And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord
shall be saved." -Acts 2:21

"And it shalt come to pass, that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
-Acts 2:21 (Catholic DOUAY RHEIMS VERSION).

ACTS 10:43.
"To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth
in him shall receive remission of sins." -Acts 10:43.

"To him all the prophets give testimony, that by his name all receive remission of sins, who
believe in him." -Acts 10:43 (Catholic DOUAY RHEIMS VERSION).
ROMANS 5:1-2, 6-11.
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus
Christ:
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice
in hope of the glory of God." -Romans 5:1-2.

"For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man
some would even dare to die.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ
died for us.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath
through him.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son,
much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Rom 5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by
whom we have now received the atonement." -Romans 5:6-11.

"Being justified therefore by faith, let us have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ:
By whom also we have access through faith into this grace wherein we stand: and glory in the
hope of the glory of the sons of God." -Romans 5:1-2. (Catholic DOUAY RHEIMS VERSION).

"For why did Christ, when as yet we were weak, according to the time, die for the ungodly?
For scarce for a just man will one die: yet perhaps for a good man some one would dare to die.
But God commendeth his charity towards us: because when as yet we were sinners according to
the time. Christ died for us.
Much more therefore, being now justified by his blood, shall we be saved from wrath through
him.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son: much more,
being reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
And not only so: but also we glory in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now
received reconciliation." -Romans 5:6-11. (Catholic DOUAY RHEIMS VERSION).

ROMANS 10:9-13.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine
heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation.
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over
all is rich unto all that call upon him.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." -Romans 10:9-13

"For if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thy heart that God hath raised
him up from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For, with the heart, we believe unto justice: but, with the mouth, confession is made unto
salvation.
For the scripture saith: Whosoever believeth in him shall not be confounded.
For there is no distinction of the Jew and the Greek: for the same is Lord over all, rich unto all
that call upon him.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." -Romans 10:9-13 (Catholic
DOUAY RHEIMS VERSION).

Dear Catholic friend you are aware that your official Catechism
(St Paul`s Catechism Of The Catholic Church (c) 1994
ISBN 1 875570 20 9)...
... teaches in Articles 183, 1129, 1815, 2002 that Salvation is
attained by cooperating with grace through faith, good works,
and participation in the Sacraments
YET in article 2005 it says, "Since it belongs to the supernatural
order, grace escapes our experience and cannot be known except
by faith. WE CANNOT THEREFORE RELY ON OUR FEELINGS
OR OUR WORKS TO CONCLUDE THAT WE ARE JUSTIFIED
AND SAVED."

A question I must also ask you is How can a person bear the fruits
of the Holy Spirit unless they first of all have the Holy Spirit?

If salvation is through faith PLUS `good works` & participation

in the sacraments then how can you ever know if you have
done enough `Good works` with the sacraments?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From now on I will not quote from the Douay Rhemes (Roman Catholic) Bible because it
has corruption in it that are not even supported by ANY Greek Manuscript of the New
Testament For Example the Bible says in James 5:16, "Confess your faults one to
another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent
prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
The Greek word translated "Faults" in James 5:16 is the Greek word παράπτωµα
{paraptōma}pronounced"par-ap'-to-mah" (#3900 in the Strongs Concordance of the
Greek New Testament). This same Greek word is used in every Greek Text, including the
ones which I consider corrupt copies of the preserved originals (The Vaticanus, The
Alexandrian, The Sinaiaticus, Nestles Greek Text + Westcott & Hort).

That word means a side slip (lapse or deviation), that is, (unintentional) error or (wilful)
transgression: - fall, fault, offence, or weakness. We are to admit where we have offended
against other Christians as in MATTHEW 18:15-20.

But the Douay Rhemes Bible does deliberately mistranslate James 5:16 in order to support it
false teaching of auricular confession to a `priest` in a confessional.
"Confess therefore your sins one to another: and pray one for another, that
you may be saved. For the continual prayer of a just man availeth much."
- James 5:16(Catholic DOUAY RHEIMS VERSION).
The Greek word for "sins" as translated in James 5:15 is the Greek word µαρτία
(#266intheGreekConcordance
266intheGreekConcordance-Harmatia) meaning sin (properly abstract): - offence, sin (-ful).
intheGreekConcordance-Harmatia)
If this Catholic Per-version of the Bible is correct in its English translation of James 5:16, then
WHY is the Greek word for "sins" µαρτία(Harmatia,Pronounced"ham-ar-tee'-ah") not used in
ANY Greek text for that verse, like it is in James 5:15 ?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Bible says that salvation is by God`s Grace & Mercy alone, through faith in Christ alone!

"And if by grace, then [is it] no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if [it
be] of works, then is it no more grace: ... O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom
and knowledge of God! how unsearchable [are] his judgments, and his ways past finding
out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of him,
and through him, and to him, [are] all things: to whom [be] glory for ever. Amen."
- Romans 11:6, 33-36.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is
the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." -Ephesians 2:8-9.

"But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man
appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but
according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and
renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus
Christ our Saviour;
That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the
hope of eternal life." -Titus 3:4-7.

WHAT THE BIBLE MEANS BY BELIEVING IN

JESUS, IS NOT A MERE MENTAL ASSENT.
FOR EVEN SATAN & HIS DEMONS KNOW WHAT
IS TRUE ... BUT THEY ARE DAMNED FOR
ETERNITY!
"Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe,
and tremble." -James 2:19.
"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their
testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, [ye]
heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of
the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he
knoweth that he hath but a short time." -Revelation 12:11-12.

"The LORD [is] nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon
him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear
their cry, and will save them." -Psalm 145:18-19.
THE BIBLE SAYS THAT A PERSON NEEDS TO
TURN TO JESUS
(REPENT - A CHANGE OF HEART),
TRUSTING HIS PERSON, COMPLETED WORK &
MERIT ALONE TO SAVE THEM & CALL UPON
JESUS CHRIST TO SAVE THEM.
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." -Romans
10:13.
"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you,
which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved,
if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ
died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that
he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: ..."
-1Corinthians 15:1-4.

"That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
In whom ye also [trusted,] after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of
your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that
holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the
redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory."
- Ephesians 1:13-14.

ONCE A PERSON HAS TRUSTED JESUS CHRIST

ALONE TO SAVE THEM, THEN THERE WILL BE A
CHANGE IN THEIR LIFE IN THE EYES OF GOD &
IN THE EYES OF MEN, AFTER SALVATION!
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the
gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good
works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in
them." -Ephesians 2:8-10.

Will you trust Jesus Christ alone for salvation, not your merits,
works, keeping the 10 Commandments, the sacraments & `church`
membership?
