------------------Go to the Liberty Tree website's main page. Click the link to the LCPD website.
There are a few interesting things, like the Threat Level, but aside from that i

appears bare. However when you go to the bottom and look at the copyright inform
ation,
the word "Database" is a small hidden link to a large profile list of criminals.
Of
special importance are Lola Del Rio, the hooker featured on the box art, Eddie L
ow
(the No-Name Killer), and Niko Bellic, among others.
Free Internet access:
--------------------Some of your safehouses have a computer in them that will not charge the $1 fee.
The
Algonquin safehouse has a laptop in it, and is somewhat far away from some of th
e
Internet cafes.
If you killed Playboy in the "The Holland Play" mission and Dwayne gave you his
apartment as a safehouse, go to it. When you walk in the front door there is a g
uard
behind the desk. Jump over the desk and you can use his computer to access the I
nternet
for free. The guard will not attack you.
Bumping into an officer:
-----------------------When you see a cop on the sidewalk while out in the city, you can push past him
like
any other pedestrian while walking. However, if you continue to push and pester
a
cop, even if you do not have a weapon or throw a punch, he will attempt to arres
t you.
Losing wanted levels:
--------------------Use any of the following techniques to get rid of your wanted level.

* To lose your wanted level, simply enter a safehouse and save your progress.
When you wake up your wanted level will be gone.
* Enter a marker for any mission.
* Enter a police vehicle, then quickly activate a vigilante or most wanted missi
on.
* Get outside of the active radar zone and call a friend. If you reach someone a
nd
not their voicemail you will get rid of your wanted level as the police are.
Current music information:
-------------------------Dial ZIT-555-0100 on your cellphone to get a text message listing the title and

of the music currently playing.
Getting tossed by friend:
------------------------Invite a friend to hang out with you. Gently nudge him with your car, enough to

Avoiding calls:
--------------To avoid being interrupted during a mission by a friend or want to explore the c

and do not want to get a call for another mission, bring up your cellphone menu.

Enter the "Options" menu and turn "Sleep Mode" on. You can now roam around the c

Regaining health:
----------------Use the following trick to regain health during a mission. Leave the mission are

go to a Cluckin' Bell, hotdog stand, etc, and eat food to replenish your health
if you
are low and cannot find a health pack. This works effectively on missions where

Run faster:
----------If you are trying to run with a rocket launcher compared to a pistol, chances ar

pistol will result in faster movement. If you are trying to run away from anythi

try to run with the lightest weapon (or no weapon) if possible.
Control music volume strip clubs:
--------------------------------The volume of the radio stations in the options menu also controls how loud the

is inside strip clubs. You can turn it all the way down to make a club completel

Claude outfit:
-------------Kill Playboy X and get his penthouse. Save the game and restart the system. When
you reload
your saved game, flip through your outfits and you should have Claude's outfit (
the main
character in Grand Theft Auto 3). Everything from the leather jacket, the green
cargos, and
the black shoes with the white stripe on the bottom should be there.
Calling emergency vehicles:
--------------------------Dial "911" on your cellphone. You will reach a voice menu that will allow you to
call the
police by dialing "1", an ambulance by dialing "2", or a fire truck by dialing "
3". Select
the vehicle of your choice and wait for them to arrive. The will stop and look a
round for
the emergency, allowing you to easily steal their vehicle.
Funny GPS:
---------Steal a luxury car with a GPS with a female voice. She sometimes makes the "bing
bong"
notification sound herself while giving directions. For example, "At 100 yards,
turn left."
At the junction, she would say "bing bong" instead of an actual beep.
Mid-air cars:
------------When in a helicopter, preferably the police one, enable a code to spawn a car. T
he car will
either float in the air motionless, fall at high speeds, or hit your rotor and s
pin off.
Avoid paying tolls:
------------------Use any emergency vehicle, turn on the sirens, and drive through the toll booth
at any speed.
The booth attendant will open the gate and you will have saved $5.
Ride a motorcycle to the side of the pay toll wall. You will not pay a toll if y
ou can drive
through the small gap on the sides.
When in a car or a motorcycle, drive up to toll booth. Stay on the far side of t
he booth.
Niko will stick his arm out, but not put money in the basket. The gate will stil
l open.
Friendship bonuses:
------------------Reach the indicated level of friendship with a character to unlock their special
friendship bonus.

Easy One Man Army Achievement:
-----------------------------At the start of the game drive north to Bohan, the island where you get a safeho
use after your
first one is burned down. At the very northern most road there is a point where
the subway
train tracks go from an elevated line to underground. Drive a car from the road
onto the
tracks and head into the tunnel. Eventually you'll cross the river and end up on
the locked
island of Algonquin and receive 6 stars. Stay in the tunnel for 5 minutes and yo
u'll get the
achievement.
Control music volume strip clubs:

ilent and
watch the ladies dance to nothing.
After death shooting:
--------------------Occasionally after your character dies, during the death animation you can cause
your currently
equipped weapon to fire off. Where it shoots is completely random, and is based
upon the direction
the gun is pointing as you fall. This effect is most notable if you have a rocke
t launcher or
assault rifle equipped, and you have a greater chance of it happening if your de
ath animation
lasts longer (such as from being blown up and flying through the air due to a gr
enade or other
explosive). While you do not get any benefits from this happening, it is satisfy
ing to sometimes
kill your attacker after you die. Note: This also works the other way. Sometimes
NPCs will shoot
you after Niko kills them. It is somewhat rare, but it can happen.
Easy headshots:
--------------It is sometimes difficult to get headshots, which do count in this game. With so
me practice,
the following is an easy way to always get them. Press [Auto-Aim] then use the R
ight Analog-stick

to move the auto-aim target around your victim's body. Barely move the Right Ana
log-stick as you
are shooting. This puts bullets in the chest and head, and results in an easy in
stant kill.
Get taxi drivers arrested:
-------------------------Go up to any taxi and hit their car. They will get out and chase you down. Find
a cop and let
the cab driver hit you. The cop will then arrest the cab driver and put him in t
he back of a
nearby police car.
Steal cars fasters:
------------------When you are being chased by the cops and you see a car you want to steal, inste
ad of waiting
for Niko to break the car window take a gun out and shoot at the driver's or pas
senger's side
window and he will just get in the car.
Blow up hotdog stand:
--------------------Some hotdog stands have a propane tank on the side. Shoot it and it will blow up
.
Stop police siren:
-----------------Shoot out a police car's lights with a gun to make the siren malfunction.
Hidden car:
----------You can find a secret car in Party, Free For All, Story Line, Bomb da Base II, C
ops 'n
Crooks, Car Jack City, Mafia Work, and Deathmatch modes.
Fight without getting wanted levels:
-----------------------------------Go to Fishmarket South where the Helitour is located. There will be a big line o
f people
waiting to board a chopper. If you stay in that area where the choppers are, you
can beat
people up without getting wanted levels. You may gain a one star wanted level ve
ry rarely.
Visit your kidnapping victim again:
----------------------------------While driving through southern Alderny soon after completing Garry's kidnapping
missions you
my noticed a blip on the radar. Drive to the small house and you will see the mo
b daughter
who screams and calls for help. Her father and several gangsters will appear and
attack you.

Avoiding graphics problems:
--------------------------If you are running the game on a low end machine, for example a Pentium 4 with 2
GB RAM and
1 GB graphics card, turn down the graphics options like screen resolution with m
inimum
refresh rate. Also keep the detailing to a minimum, such as shadows and characte
r details.
All these options are in the game's "Option" menu.
Use the following trick to fix problems where you may see nothing but some unusu
al colors
or spots and no characters or scenes. Turn down or up the resolution from the ga
me's graphics
options. For example, go from 800X600 (75hz) to 800X600 (60hz). When the game as
ks if you
to want keep the changes or not, answer "No" to return to your old settings.

View Statue Of Happiness' heart:
-------------------------------Once you gain access to Happiness Island, find the Helicopter Tours, which is di
rectly east
of Happiness Island, and steal a helicopter. Fly to Happiness Island and over th
e Statue Of
Happiness, then jump out of the helicopter at the statue's feet. You should land
on the topmost tier of the statue, which is basically a square platform with a door in the
center of
each side. Run around the platform until you see a door with a plaque on either
side of it
that reads, "No Hidden Content Here". It may seem like you cannot go through the
door, but
you can -- it doesn't open, you simply walk through the door. You will find an e
mpty room
with a tall ladder inside. Climb it, and when you reach the top, look up to see
a huge beating
heart, held in place by chains.
Swim under city:
---------------Go to the north part of the map, just northwest of Butterfly Street in Bohan. Th
en, get down
to the outskirts of the land, and walk towards the corner between the brick wall
and the cliff.
You can walk through the invisible wall. Lookup towards the city to see the city
from below.
You can also continue onwards and swim under the city.
Civilian warfare and assistance:
-------------------------------Go to a car when a man is in it. This will not work with a woman. Make sure ther
e are other
pedestrians around you on the sidewalks. Push or punch the car around the front.
Let the man
exit and beat you up a little bit. Then some of the male pedestrians will rush t
o help you,
and punch or pull out knives on your attacker. Sometimes if an officer is around
, he will
arrest the attacker.

--------------Get any car. When you get to the race, wait until the race starts. Immediately a
fter it starts,
shoot out at least one tire on each car, but make it quick.
Money:
-----* Go to Broker or Dukes. Find an armored truck. Stop the truck by standing in fr
ont of it or
blocking it with a car. Take out a rocket launcher. Keep a safe distance and b
low up the
truck. Enable the "Remove Niko's wanted level" code. Collect all the money aro
und the truck.
* Go to the Alderney State Correctional Facility and get inside. Spawn a car or
motorcycle
and have the "Remove Niko's wanted level" cheat ready to activate. Kill orange
dressed
prisoners by hitting them with your car. They will usually drop lots of money.
Blood Brothers: Extra money:
-----------------------------When you are about to make your decision on who you are going to snipe (Derrick
or Francis),
call Francis. He will tell you that he will give you more money to kill Derrick,
resulting
in an extra $5,000 for the mission.
Out Of Commission: Purple dildo:
-------------------------------A purple dildo can be found during the last mission of the Revenge storyline, "O
ut Of Commission"
when you are going through the warehouse, chasing Jimmy Pegarino. When you enter
a smaller room,
you will trigger an intermission sequence with Pegarino, talking smack with him.
After the
sequence, look under the set of stairs in front of you. You will see a small pur
ple dildo with
a mound of dirt around it.
Play pool in safehouse:
----------------------Arrange to play the pool activity with a friend. Instead of going to the bar on
the map, bring
them to your Algonquin Northwood safehouse (if available). Go near the pool tabl
e. A prompt
will ask you to play pool.
Strip club: Lap dance duet:

--------------------------Go to the strip club and reserve a lap dance. After the performance is done she
will ask if
you want another, accept twice and she will bring in another girl into the room
for a duet.
Easier chases:
-------------If you are having a difficult time following a target, equip a gun and shoot out
their rear
tires. After awhile the tire will fall off the rim and your target will start to
slow down,
allowing you to keep up with them at a medium speed.
Saving helicopters:
------------------To save a helicopter, land it in the space for cars in front of a safehouse.
Easy six-star wanted level:
--------------------------Before unlocking all locations, especially the part of Liberty City where Aldern
ey City is
located, go to any bridge leading to a locked place. You will see a roadblock an
d police
guarding the bridge. Run through or use a vehicle/helicopter to get past them. Y
ou will
immediately earn a six star wanted level.
Note: The police and police helicopters will start shooting you. To get rid of t
he cops, go
back to an unlocked location then enable the "Remove Niko's wanted level" code.
Note: If you are going to the prison but it is still locked, land your helicopte
r carefully
in the basketball courts.
Friend in hospital:
------------------If a friend gets run over by an NPC on the way to see you, you will only be able
to get his
voice mail. A few in-game days later he will call, asking to be picked up from t
he hospital.
Frenchie Fox the strange criminal:
---------------------------------Go to an internet cafe and go to the "www.libertycitypolice.com" web site. Scrol
l down to the
bottom of the site. You will see the word "Database" with the icon of a lock nex
t to it. Select
"Database" then select "F-J" at the top. One of the first people to appear is "F
ox, Frenchie".
Frenchie is a 30-year old girl who prostitutes. She manages to donate the "profi
ts" to charity.
Her location/birth place is unknown.
Avoid paying tolls:

------------------Use the following trick to avoid paying a bridge toll without gaining two stars.
When you reach
the toll booth on the bridge to the next island, slow down near it (but not to c
lose). Push the
car in front of you until the toll booth arm falls. Then, go around the car you
pushed.
Note: This works most of the time.
Sniper rifle:
------------Along the north coast of Algonquin, there are two smokestacks. On the eastern-mo
st one there
is a ladder. Climb the ladder and on top you will find a sniper rifle with a las
er sight.
Get full pistol and shotgun early:
---------------------------------The following is an easy way to start the game with full pistol and shotgun ammo

ability to save by sleeping on the bed in Roman's home. Getting the knife is als
o helpful.
Go outside Roman's home and kill a few people. The police will appear. Kill a po
lice officer.
He will drop his gun. Take it then immediately run into Roman's home and sleep o
n the bed.
You can choose to save the game if desired. When you wake up, your wanted level
will be down,
and you will still have the pistol. Go back outside and kill more pedestrians. W
hen the cops
appear, run up the stairs. Turn around at the top of the stairs and face the doo
r going outside
of Roman's home. The cops will come through that door and you can just pick them
off with your
new pistol. Watch your health and do not worry about picking up the guns. If you
r health gets
low you can sleep on the bed. Wake up, and when you go outside there will be lot
s of weapons.
The shotgun will take longer because not every cop uses it. However if you enter
the police
cars that have been abandoned outside the apartments you can easily get five she
lls for the
shotgun for each different car you enter.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas References:
----------------------------------------Go to your safehouse in Bohan. Go up to the room where you save the game and mov
e to the
kitchen counters. Look on the countertop under the clock to see a small black CD
cover.
Zoom in on it with a sniper rifle to see the words "OG LOC" on it with a picture

At the junction, she would say "bing bong" instead of an actual beep.
Get any vehicle from any mission:
--------------------------------During transport missions, there will be some cars, boats, or planes that can on
ly be used
in that mission. Just kill the person that is with you in the vehicle and it wil
l be yours
to keep.
Lost and Damned:
---------------Many of the cheats are the same for Lost and Damned as in the normal GTA, you ju
st have
to re-enter them so they are on your phone.
Getting away from the police:
----------------------------When running away from the cops, you will have a circular area in which they loo
k for you.
However, if you get out and another cop sees you, it changes. To use this to you
r advantage,
get barely out of that circle which you will see on your radar. Just sit there f
or about
five seconds instead of flooring past it.

remain locked when you return to it, unless you exit your vehicle or the camera

Get taxi drivers arrested:
-------------------------Go up to any taxi and hit their car. They will get out and chase you down. Find
a cop and
let the cab driver hit you. The cop will then arrest the cab driver and put him
in the
back of a nearby police car.
How to make extra money:

Action Button). Then enter it and go to any place. Skip the long journey if you

(it will need some extra money to skip).Then after you reach, Niko will automati

outside. Then very quickly go to the driver and remove him from the taxi. Then q
uickly
kill him with a gun. When he dies, he will leave money. Collect it and you will
get your
taxi money back plus the driver's original money.
Destroy cars faster:

-------------------If you need to blow up a car but do not have any explosive weapons, you can use
any other
weapon to cause a car to catch on fire and quickly explode. Aim at the rear whee
l well of
the vehicle. A few hits should be enough to ignite the car and cause an explosio
