Course Description:
The Bayamon Military Academy seventh grade English course aims to capture
students interest in grammar usage, techniques and mechanics as well as the
enjoinment and understanding of literature. The integration of the course skills
will help develop his/her capacities to interact effectively in a verbal and nonverbal environment.
Justification
The oral and written communication is a fundamental and a compelling tool to
develop a skilled student for the future. He or she will use these tools to help
enable the ability in applying language skills in an integrated form, to solve
problems in sense of personal fulfillment and capable of working to change
society in a responsible way. Student will gain the capacity of being critical
thinkers respecting other peoples opinions and beliefs.
Objectives
Student will be able to use and understand grammar usage and its mechanics, to
interpret literary elements with special emphasis in conflict and figure of speech.
Learn to use and understand new words by using the dictionary
Communicate effectively in small informal group activities
Develop and understand the meaning of an essay and the different
kinds of essays

Criteria of Evaluation
The student evaluation tend to be objective, therefore to better understand and
help my student in their strengths and weakness, I will use different methods of
evaluation.

Student will be able to use and understand grammar usage and its mechanics, to interpret

Recognize complete and simple subject and predicates (verb)
To identify and classify nouns
To name and classify pronouns and its antecedents in a sentence
To choose the adjectives and the word it modifies

To enhance their oral communication by doing oral presentations about specific
theme intergrading media and technology
To locate adverbs and the word it modifies
To select and classify verbs in their tense
