Task 1 - Academic Writng Paper ( 60 %)


TASK 1 :
Issues and challenges in education are related with the attitudes of teachers facing innovation, challenges and changes in education.
Globalization and the spread of technology used widely also have an impact on the understanding of teachers and students in facing a
challenging educational world.
1. You are required to read an academic journal article related to one of the following topics;
a. national integration
b. democratization of education
c. globalization of education
d. emotional disturbances of students
e. influence of the development of ICT
f. social ills
g. educational attainment within country
1a. Basen on the article, you are required to identify the issues discussed. You are also required to explain the issues and challenges faced
by teachers in the 21st century.
1b. Based on your knowledge and experience in school / practicum / through your reading, identify the root cause of emotional disturbances that
occur among the students in schools. If you were a classroom teacher, what action will you take to address the problem?

Task 2 : Essay Writing ( 40%)


Evaluate and supervise the users of ICT in teaching and learning is an important role played by school administrators. This is to ensure that the
skills and abilities of teachers to meet the standards as set out in the policy document the use of new technologies is increasing, so the school
should be willing to change.

If you were the headmaster/headmistress in the school, discuss the innovative teaching and learning practices in the classroom that you can
implement to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

2. The format of writing assignments are as follows:

2.2 Font Arial, font size 11 and 1.5 line spacing
2.3 Reference according to APA format (American Psychological Association)

5. This project should be completed within 4 weeks.
