The social welfare work program is one that ensures that workers are
integrated as people in the workplace through the provision of necessary
resources and means that allow a suitable embodiment on a personal level. But
this program is really capable of transcending significantly to the growth and
the full realization of an individual in your daily life?
From the 60s are starting to set in Colombia plans labor welfare in order to find
a relationship between these programs and increased employee productivity to
thereby achieve an industrial breakthrough, ie the company paid them some
benefit in exchange for providing social welfare for the employee and even to
his family. (Martinez, 1981). These programs focused on community and
business assistance, protection and social promotion, training etc. However this
did not cover all areas in which the employee had full coverage in terms of
welfare, not the internally felt that these significantly help their personal
growth so these early efforts were not reflected in the field work in Productivity
matters much less in the quality of life of the employee.
Following years you have been sought through the implementation of policies
to include issues such as health and implementation of social security systems
within the attention, thus achieving a cover of all processes within the
organization yet still has not been effective development and growth in the
quality of life of the population.
Considering the previous point where they have shown wellness programs in
the past which have not achieved full realization in terms of quality of life for
employees of an organization, we must analyze what aspects are implementing
today with the aim of improving the quality of life in all senses of the partner
organization through the completion of the work year. For this purpose the
organization should implement programs, plans, projects which are dynamic to
optimize your everyday work as their personal status. (Davis and Newstrom,
1991).
To meet the objective of ensuring an excellent quality of life and fulfillment of a
member of an organization it is necessary to allocate resources in order to
make the work environment have respect for the employee as an individual
and provide adequate means for their realization staff should also ensure
through social welfare work program stable economic, employment and
personal, encourage continued growth according to the capabilities presented
by ensuring continuous employee training and continuous development of the
same which undoubtedly lead to a higher level of productivity and why not
leading to a steady growth of the company. (Arenas, 1993)

It is quite clear that a balanced officer and enjoying satisfaction with their work,
with their families and in general in all aspects encompassing their daily lives,
so the program of labor welfare must guarantee benefits as in the case of
education in order to constant training, supplementary programs and family
health, recreation and housing which will give the employee the feeling of
support and appropriate advice this continuous growth achieved professional
and personal level, which should have a positive impact not only on the
company but also in society.
Concluding if properly directed the labor welfare programs only focus grabbing
programs implemented only for the purpose of benefiting the employee, but for
the purpose of solving the problems of the same, familiar, personal etc. Labour
material generated them a real motivation which undoubtedly raise their
quality of life and environment from the exercise of work.
