Introduction:

This article shows how to understand computers from the guidance of The
Quran showing the truthfulness of the statement of Allah (God) Almighty in
The Quran in verse 38 of chapter 6 which states: (There is not a moving
creature on earth, nor a bird that flies with its two wings, but are communities
like you. Allah (God) has not left anything out from the Book, then unto
their Lord they shall be gathered). Such that Allah (God) states in this Quranic
verse that He did not leave anything out from the Quran, which means that
the Quran contains all branches of knowledge (i.e. the knowledge of creation
from the creator).

If we link this conclusion with verse 21 of chapter 51 which states: (and in

your ownselves will you not then see?), where Allah (God) Almighty urges us
to ponder and reflect upon the creation of our bodies and if we do that we
realize that our body contains all engineering systems like for example
thermal (skin), chemical (stomach), structural (bone), computational (brain),
etc.

In this lecture I will concentrate on computational systems of the human body

emphasizing on the human brain. If we link all of this with verse 4 of chapter
95 which states: (Allah (God) created humans in an optimal form), which
means that Allah (God) created humans in optimal specifications and design.
Thus if we think about the computational system in the human body we can
find the optimal specifications and design for such a system such that your
textbook would be the Quran and your teacher would be Allah (God).
Pondering upon the human body:

If we ponder upon cell division in the human body we realize that Allah (God)
designed these cells to divide and increase in numbers according to a
numerical sequence which is:

1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096, …….

This numerical sequence is shown in figures 1 and 2.

Figure 1: Cell division in the human body.

Figure 2: The numerical sequence which Allah (God) created the human body upon.

If we ponder upon how Allah (God) designed neural connections in the human
brain, we find that Allah (God) designed neural connections in the brain to be
able to deal with inputs based on the numerical sequence which is based on
number 2 that is 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096, …….
As shown in figures 3 and 4.

Figure 3: Neural cell in the human body.

Figure 4: Neural cells’ connections in the human brain.

Thus we can conclude that the basic numerical sequence on which Allah
(God) created the human body upon and also creation is: (1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32,
64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096, …….). Thus this numerical sequence is
the best for representing numbers by and to perform numerical operations
by.

Representation of numbers based on the numerical sequence of creation:

Since Allah (God) designed creation based on the numerical sequence of

creation then it can be concluded that any number in creation must be
represented by this sequence, which is proven to be true. Examples on how
any number can be represented by the numerical sequence in creation are
shown in figure 5.
Figure 5: The representation of any number by the numerical sequence of creation.

If we link this to computer science today we find that people reached that the
best way to represent numbers in computers is using the binary system
which is based on the number two, such that in figure 6 it is shown how to
represent numbers using the binary system.

Let us please ponder upon this assumption: If Muslims would have

pondered upon the Quran and knew this information before others then can
you forecast what would have the status of Muslims been now?
Figure 6: The representation of the numbers 19, 57, 178 by the binary system.

Numerical operations using the numerical sequence of creation:

Since the numerical sequence of creation is the basis for representing

numbers then it must be the best sequence also to perform numerical
operations based upon. Thus if we take the following example, which is to
add 1 and 3 using the numerical sequence of creation such that the way is
that when a cell is full and is added to another cell which is full also then the
result would be to shift the output to a new cell to the left and this process is
repeated for other cells as shown in figure 7.
Figure 7: Summation using the numerical sequence of creation.

This mechanism which a person reaches from pondering upon The Quran and
the human body is something that people now learned their basics in
computer science, which people reached after hundreds of years of research,
and an example of this is the addition of numbers 1 and 3 in the binary
system used in computers, as shown in figure 8.

Figure 8: Summing using the binary system.

People in this day and age discovered that the optimal way to perform
arithmetic operations on numbers is using the binary system and computers,
and this is no surprise since as I showed in this article that Allah (God)
created humans and the universe based on the numerical sequence: (1, 2, 4,
8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096, …….) in which number 2 is
key and thus the best way to represent and deal with numbers is using this
numerical sequence of creation.
