Bible Verse - Death

Scriptures

John 14:1-2
"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in
God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father's house
are many mansions;if it were not so, I would have
told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Revelation 21:4
And God will wipe away every tear from their
eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow,
nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the
former things have passed away."
1 John 3:2
Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has

not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we

know that when He is revealed, we shall be like
Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
1 Corinthians 15:19-20, 22, 25-26,53-55
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of
all men the most pitiable.
But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has
become the firstfruits of those who have fallen
asleep.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall
be made alive.
For He must reign till He has put all enemies
under His feet. The last enemy that will be
destroyed is death.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and

this mortal must put on immortality. So when this

corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal
has put on immortality, then shall be brought to
pass the saying that is written: "Death is
swallowed up in victory."" O Death, where is your
sting? O Hades, where is your victory?"
1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren,
concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you
sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we
believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so
God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
Romans 14:8
For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die,
we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or
die, we are the Lord's.
Hebrews 10:34

for you had compassion on me in my chains, and

joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods,
knowing that you have a better and an enduring
possession for yourselves in heaven.
2 Corinthians 5:6-8
So we are always confident, knowing that while
we are at home in the body we are absent from
the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We
are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be
absent from the body and to be present with the
Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:17-18
Then we who are alive and remain shall be
caught up together with them in the clouds to
meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always
be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another
with these words.

Psalm 48:14
For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will
be our guide even to death.
Psalm 91:1-2
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most
High Shall abide under the shadow of the
Almighty.I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge
and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust."
Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, a very present
help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear%u2026
Isaiah 41:10, 13
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not
dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee;
yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with
the right hand of my righteousness. . . . For I the

LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying

unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
2 Corinthians 4:16-15:8
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly
we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being
renewed day by day. For our light and momentary
troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that
far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on
what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is
seen is temporary, but what is unseen is
eternal. Now we know that if the earthly tent we
live in is destroyed, we have a building from God,
an eternal house in heaven, not built by human
hands. Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed
with our heavenly dwelling, because when we are
clothed, we will not be found naked. For while we
are in this tent, we groan and are burdened,
because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be
clothed with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is

mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now it is God

who has made us for this very purpose and has
given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing
what is to come. Therefore we are always
confident and know that as long as we are at
home in the body we are away from the Lord. We
live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say,
and would prefer to be away from the body and at
home with the Lord.
Ecclesiastes 7:1
"A good name is better than precious ointment;
and the day of death than the day of one's birth."
