DOMESTIC WASTE COLLECTION

Bin Arbaid offers a variety of permanent and temporary services to
industrial as well as domestic clients throughout Qatar. Using the
industrys largest collection of waste skips, waste bins, and compactors,
our safe and friendly drivers provide clean and dependable waste and
recycling collection, while our professional customer service staff is
trained and standing by to answer all of their service-related questions.
Bin Arbaid collects domestic wastes by using its huge range of Steel
skips, Bins, load luggers and compactors. Bin Arbaid trained work force is
committed to clear the domestic wastes in time and dispose it in the
municipality approved dumping areas

SEWAGE WATER AND LIQUID WASTE SERVICES

Bin Arbaid has its own wide range of sewage water removal service. Bin
Arbaid is using its 4500 Gallon capacity high pressure suction tankers and
6000 Gallon trailers with higher capacity for collecting and disposing the
sewage water at the municipality approved dumping sites. Companies
that generate liquid waste require a convenient, cost-effective and
environmentally friendly way to dispose of these wastes.
POTABLE WATER SUPPLY
Bin Arbaid undertakes supply of potable water in its different capacity
of tankers as per the requirement of the clients in the different parts of
state of Qatar. Bin Arbaid always keeps govt. standards, quality and
hygiene in the distribution of potable water.
The above all services Bin Arbaid involved in protecting the
environment using the principles of Reduce, Recycle and Re-use
philosophy. Bin Arbaid can involve collecting waste material and
processing it in some way, or trying to recycle it. It can have both health
and environmental implications. Waste management is the collection,
transport, processing or disposal, managing and monitoring of waste
materials.

2. QATAR WASTE
PLANS

GOVERNMENT
MANAGEMENT

Qatar produces more than 28,000 tons of solid waste every day.
Currently, households are responsible for about 30% of that waste, while
commerce, industry, and construction account for the rest. The vast
majority of that non-domestic waste today goes directly to the landfill. The
waste strategy will cover waste from households, the construction
industry, and industrial and commercial sectors. It will focus on two
primary goals:
Recycling and Waste Reduction
Convert Waste to Energy

Recycling and Waste Reduction

The prospective plans for waste reduction will almost greatly
increase recycling of industrial and commercial waste, the target being to
reduce the amount going to landfills from 91% to 64%. Plans are also in
place to greatly improve the amount of household waste being recycled.
These efforts will be accompanied by a public awareness campaign to
impress upon the people of Qatar to create less waste and that recycling
is an every- day responsibility.
Household waste generated = 4,040T; recycling=3%
Commercial waste generated = 4,040T; recycling=1%
Construction & Demolition waste generated = 20,000T;
recycling=4%
Hazardous waste generated = 150T; treated=17%; Landfilled=83%

Qatar is generating a total of 28,000 Tonnes per day of solid waste, of

which only 3% is recycled, 4% is incinerated while the remaining is
disposed off into landfills

3. CURRENT STATUS OF WASTE TREATMENT FACILITIES IN BIN

ARBAID GROUP
Daily unloading of Food waste, domestic. Wood, concrete waste &
scrap items (steel, copper, aluminium & batteries) etc. from
various clients from Al Khor, Simsima & RLIC areas. Approx. 12 to
14 trips of 7 M3 Skips & 3 to 4 trips of 18 M3 Ro Ro bins are daily
offloading in our Ummberika Yard
After proper segregation of food wastes & other domestic & mix
wastes will be loaded to our Compactor. Daily two trips of
compactor wastes are going to Mesaied dumping station( 12 to
14 trips of 7 M3 wastes)
Construction, wood & other Industrial wastes will be loaded to our
19 M3 Dump trucks by using our Shovel and send to Mesaied &
Rowdat Rasheed duping station for land filling purpose. Approx.
15 to 20 trips are made in a week.

Our labours segregate and store various scrap items like steel,
copper, aluminium & used batteries for selling the same to
various scrap dealers. We sell the same to them once in every 45
days after obtaining various quotations.
Paper, carton & pet bottles and small aluminium cans are
currently disposed along with domestic wastes in our Compactor.
Daily cleaning & water servicing of various 7 M3 skips coming
from various RLIC Clients.
Municipality and MOE personnel are making surprise visit to our
Yard and inspecting level of wastes, labour safety, foul smell and
any other environmental issues related to dumping of wastes in
the yard.
We are in the process of segregating some more re- cycle wastes
like paper, carton, thin plastic, aluminium cans etc. which we are
not currently segregating and disposing along with mix wastes,
which will further increase our revenue.

4. RECYCLING - MORE EFFICIENT - ACTION PLAN

In our segregation yard we can install a power press machine to

press and pack the segregated paper / plastic papers / cartons /
cans / bottles etc. By packing these items in professional
manner, we can earn more profit while selling these to recycling
agents. Also can reduce storage spaces
Need to make tie up with any recycling company for the
recyclable wastes like Paper, steel, cartons, plastic, wood etc.
This will help us to provide any documentation like certification
of waste recycling without disposing by Eco Friendly
Environment

5. RECYCLING - MORE EFFICIENT TECHNOLOGYS

budgetary ones. Mixed recycling from Waste Management provides an

pre-processing of waste received. Through pre-processing, materials suited

6. THE WASTE BALING TECHNOLOGY

Waste Baling technology are designed to easily compress large
amounts of recyclables i.e. paper, cardboard, plastics, cans and drums
into manageable bales. These machines are generally used when
recycling is in places,
Recyclable materials receive much higher revenue than loose
recyclable materials.
Cut down of transport costs and reduce carbon footprint and
minimize storage space.

than loose.

7. FOOD WASTE TO COMPOSTING TECHNOLOGY

Composting is the process of controlled aerobic decomposition of
biodegradable organic matter. During composting, microorganisms break
down organic matter into carbon dioxide, water, heat, and compost.
Compost is a marketable product. Gardeners, farmers, golf course
operators, and others are willing to purchase quality compost. Price

depends on the local market (1 kg = QR10), quality of compost, and the

raw materials used.
Composting releases ammonia which reduces the odour emitted. Compost
is a stable product which is free from offensive odours.
Disposal of compost is not a problem because there is a demand for
compost. Compost can be transported farther distances, possibly out of an
over-burdened watershed. Composting converts nitrogen into forms which
are less likely to leach into the ground or be carried away by surface
runoff.

The biggest problem is when incorrect items like plastic, paper and
other non-organic waste are put in the composting container as they have
to be removed by hand. This slows down the process and if these items
are missed it can clog or damage the machinery and other equipment.

8. INCINERATION

TECHNOLOGY

A waste treatment
technology, which
includes the combustion of waste for recovering energy, is called as
incineration.
Solid waste incinerators are used to combust organic substances
contained in waste. Incineration converts solid waste into ash. Incineration
is the main alternative to landfills, which hold solid waste in a contained
area. Modern solid waste incinerators separate most dangerous gases and
particulates from the flue gas produced during incineration
