Missionary Cooperation Appeal

Donation

This weekend, we welcome Sr. Teslin Joseph of the

Sisters of the Sacred Heart, India, as a guest at our
Masses. She will speak about her experience in the
mission field. Proceeds from this Mission appeal
are used to directly support the missionary organization and the people they serve.
Your generous donation unites you as missionary
to our brothers and sisters around the world who
need our help. Special envelopes can be found in
the pews.

Fr. Mel and members of the Men's Club were on

hand to honor Joe Brozovic who donated woodworking equipment to the church. In his honor, the
store room was renamed Joe's Place.
The equipment, table saw, a band saw and chop saw
will be used for maintenance projects for the parish.
Thank you, Joe.

Stewardship as a Way of Life

The Little Flower lived a life of Stewardship, too.
This quote is from St. Therese of Lisieux. Use the
gifts you have received, and pass on the love that
has been given to you.

think and pray about this. WE NEED YOUR GIFTS! For
more info, contact Robin Keator at 619-922-7941 or by
email at robin.keator@yahoo.com.

Pastors Prayer Team

Keep up the daily prayer for 5 to 10 minutes each
day for Fr. Mel and the parish. You don't have to
join, you don't have to register, you don't have to
sign up. Just start to pray daily and get started
again as soon as you forget!

Donation Requests
We are in need of a couple of card tables in good condition. Also needed are wheel chairs in good condition. If you can help, contact Alma at 858-565-4231.
Thank you.

5-Year Plan
You still have an opportunity to respond to the
questionnaire available at the doors of the
church. We are accepting your input to the planning process through Sunday, August 30. Drop
your response into the large black box. Hurry and
don't delay!
