MEMORANDUM
Date: December 12, 2013
To: Master Christensen
From: Seth Burdette
Subject: Self Evaluation of Technical Report Presentation
In this memo, I will review my oral presentation given in class on my research of
Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle implementation.

Adaptation to Audience
After reviewing my presentation I can see how I defined many of the terms I
was using for the audience. I showed to video to my roommates to see if they
could understand it and they all felt like they could keep up with what I was
saying very well.
The only part I felt like I didnt explain fully was about G forces. If I were to
repeat the presentation I would prepare a more clear explanation of G force.

Professionalism
I was really happy to see that I looked comfortable. I was worried about just
staying behind the podium the whole time but after watching my presentation I
realized that I only went behind the podium when I was changing the slides and
at other times I was standing next to it.
I felt that I looked confident in my material. I never said, um and only said
uh and kinda once. Those were words I was focusing on not using and I
looked like I knew what I was talking about because I didnt use those words.

Organization and Technical Accuracy
My presentation had a good flow to it. After watching it I felt I could have been
clearer on what I was going to address. I did say that I would focus on combat
ability but it may have been helpful to introduce what parts of combat ability I
would talk about.
I felt I spent appropriate time on each section and the information was
pertinent in demonstrating UCAV combat ability.

Audio-Visual Aids
My slides were very helpful. I purposely didnt include much text because I
didnt want to be tempted to just read them. I used pictures and videos to help
my audience be engaged.
I liked the slide where I shrunk the UCAV picture down to scale and moved it
next to the F-22 for comparison. Slides like that are very helpful for me to stay
engaged because it makes the slide seem like a tool, not a background picture.

Overall I feel very pleased with my presentation. I didnt notice any major errors in the
presentation and would give myself 15/15 on this assignment.
