Since graduating from Sussex University in 2013 I have been

working as the marketing manager for Mist Electronic
Cigarettes as well as pursuing a part time career as a DJ and
music producer Lorca. In the summer of 2013 my brother
and I were running the business out of his bedroom in
Brighton. Today were a team of 6 working from our head
office. Over 2 years weve expanded the business vastly.
Weve rebranded, built a new site, expanded our product
range and grown our customer base. I have been involved
every step of the way. During this period I was also releasing
records and playing gigs across Europe with support from
my booking agents Elastic Artists.

Helped to grow the business from a bedroom to office environment
in Brighton. I work with the director and business manager to
create social campaigns that drive sales are grow our presence in
the vaping industry. I am solely responsible for all social media and
email marketing as well as the creation of any digital content we
may require.

2 month internship at the creative digital applications agency
Bynd. I worked in a team of 5 on website builds and application
development, assisting the team with coding (HTML/CSS) on the
front end. Also did some design work, creating YouTube banners

Internship // Sarm East/West studios // February 2010

March 2010
1 months work experience at the top London studio as a studio
assistant. Tasks involved assisting studio engineers on recording
sessions. Setting up mics, amps and getting levels in Protools.

I was also responsible for organizing travel and booking in time for
artists. I did overnight receptions shifts on weekends and assisted
on sessions with Wiley, Jamilia and Ne Yo.

A 3 year BA course spent studying theoretical and practical

modules like Advertising & Social Change through to News,
Politics and Power and Sound & Radio Production. I specialized
in Sound & Radio for the practical side of the course; my final
piece was a 25 minute radio documentary on young artists
experiences being signed to major labels. It featured interviews
with Breach and A&Rs at Sony and Universal. On the theory side I
specialized in Music, Media and Culture. My final dissertation was
entitled: Marketing Authenticity? Club culture, House music and
the Impact of the Internet.

2 year full time course spent studying music technology. Modules
ranged from Music Industry to Musical Arrangement to Sound
design and Synthesis. For my final project I recorded and
produced my own bands EP. I also learned how to apply sound to
media projects, creating bespoke pieces for adverts and TV intro
sequences.

I have been producing music and DJing under the Lorca alias
since 2011. I have performed at venues and festivals
throughout Europe including Berghain/Panorama Bar, Big
Chill festival, Secret Garden Party, Lattitude festival and
many more. My music has gained support from BBC Radio 1
,Bonobo, Disclosure, Maya Jane Coles, Rob Da Bank and
more. I am still very active with forthcoming music on
