insurance company Ltd. for the support that they have provided me for
this project report .I take great pleasure to thank and acknowledge the
permission and allowance by Branch Manager, HDFC Standard Life
insurance, Indore and his help and insurance provided. I extend a whole
hearted thanks to Mr. Vikas Goyal, sales Development Manager under
whom i worked and learned a lot and for enlightening me with their
knowledge and experience to grow with the corporate working.
I would also like to extend my thanks to Prof. ARPITA PATEL, my
mentor, who supported me in carrying out my operation successfully and
provided me vital information and proper guidance regarding my project
objectives and report.
Their guidance at every stage of the project enabled me to successfully
complete this project. Without their constant encouragement and
motivation it was not possible for me to complete the report with fullest

ABSTRACT
The project at HDFCSL was to make the financial consultants for the HDFC
Standard Life insurance company. It was a more than 4 week project starting from
1june and completing on 1july.The project starts with the training session for two
weeks which included the knowledge about the life insurance products. We were
told in detail about the market players their practices and brand that they had to
maintain in order to survive in the market because of the competition.

We were also trained to talk with people in order to get their attention and who
should be our target so that the chances of convincing the person is higher .The data
base in the beginning of TGE third week was provided to me and I started working
on that by making call taking appointment and doing the follow ups if necessary
