Are they the same country? That are Scotland and Wales?
Does Ireland belong to England? Is Northern Ireland a nation? Can I use the
terms of United Kingdom and Great Britain of indistinct form?
Ok, In this class we are going to extract you of all your doubts and to explain to
you once and for all the differences between all these terms and names in
order that you should learn to use them correctly.
We are going to begin for the geographical definitions:
The archipelago of the British islands is composed by two big islands:
1. The island of Great Britain.
2. The island of Ireland.
Continuing with the political definitions, the island of Ireland, it is divide in two
conditions:
1. The Republic of Ireland, with Dublin like the capital
2. Northern Ireland, with Belfast like the capital In turn,
the island of Great Britain, divide this one in other three conditions:
1. England, with London like the capital
2. Wales, with Cardiff like the capital
3. Scotland, with Edinburgh like the capital
Where from does so many confusion come? It owes to that England is the
biggest condition as for extension of the United Kingdom, which takes London
as the capital, which in turn also is the capital of the United Kingdom.

Siguiendo con las definiciones polticas, la isla de Irlanda, est divida en dos estados:
