ABSTRACT

A1f1xit is a computer repair shop who

specializes on fixing a whole range of
devices from iPhone to laptop. This
shop is located at Melbourne CBD.
Our client wanted us to propose a new
network design and redeveloped their
website. Because they are using outof-date
equipment
they
are
experiencing several difficulties when
using the internet and their own
internal networks. Their website on
the
other
hand
is
plain
and
unimpressive with lack of customeroriented functions.
The goal of our project is to make
network proposal that will surely make
their network capable of handling their
needs at ease and a website that will
surely looks good and a better

MATERIALS AND METHODS

The programming language used to develop their websites with the aids of
Dreaweaver are:

Methodologies for developing the

website
The spiral model was used in
developing the website because of it
flexibility. This models capability allow
us to create room infinitely in case
when objectives of the projects are not
fully defined and to create the desired
change whenever until it is good
enough. Below are some of the
advantages of spiral model:

Risk analysis are done more

often which therefore prevents
risk becoming bigger.
Strong
approval
and
documentation control.
Additional Functionality can be
added at a later date.

Methodologies used for network

proposal
We used the PMBOK methodology in
preparing a network proposals. Since
network proposals have to be detailed
and practical and reasonable following
the PMBOK methodology give us the
right tool in preparing a network
document.

The project can be started

without finishing the scope.

CONCLUSIONS

RESULTS

A good network proposal, when

implemented, helps the companys
network to become more secure,
stable, and functional and also saved
them more from expenses. As a
result the companys operation will
constantly
run
smoothly
and
perfectly. Secondly, a well-developed
website, can not only be functional
but also has a great design that can
entertain visitors and get more of
them.

The
result
of
using
the
recommendations introduced in our
network design proposal is the network
capacity to remain stable overtime.
Even when one system shutdown, it will
not affect the rest of the network.
On the other hand, after the website
was developed and put lived on the
internet, our client noticed visits has
increase marginally. After seeing this
improvement our client decided to keep
this and run it on their server.
