I would like to remind you once again that inspire of repeated reminders you have not come
forward to repay your long overdue classified amount of loan which you took from our bank 3
years back and the amount has become Tk. 25.00 lac including principal and interest. So, once
again we inform you to pay the overdue amount of Bank dues within 7 days time. If you fail to
repay your dues within the above time period, Bank may take legal action against you in the
following manners.
1. Bank will file both civil and criminal suits against you under Negotiable Act 1881.
2. Bank will published Auction Notice, in two National dailies, of your mortgaged property
against the loan.
3. File attachment suits of other properties if the sale proceeds fall short to adjust the dues
of the Bank.

Sub: Proposal for enhancement of monitory facilities of the employees of our Bank.
We are all aware of the fact that the consumer index for all the essential commodities has gone
up and as a result the prices of essential commodities have been increased by 35% to 40%. But
financial benefits of the employees of our Bank have not been revised for pretty long time, As a
result the employees in general, have been suffering from financial crisis, because they cannot
maintains their families smoothly with the amount they received now. That is why we proposed
the following incentives for the Employees;
1. An average increase of salary for 20%
2. An average increase of conveyance for 10%
3. An average increase of other benefits for 5%
We hope that the Board of Directors will exercise their good offices and considering the price
hike will increase the financial proposals as mentioned.

The Board of Directors have discussed in detail the issues of purchasing of 5 Nos. of 100 KVA
generator for the use of branches and agreed to purchase the name at a cost price of Tk. 2.50
crore and asper the condition mentioned in the Memo No.-236.

for the use of 5 feeding branches at a cost of Tk. 1.25 crore and have agreed to purchase the

Ans: The word communicate is derived from the Latin wordcommunicare which means to
share, exchange, send along, transmit, talk, gesture, write, put, in use, and to relate. The word
communication is the noun form of the word communicates. A number of definitions have been
given to the term. A few important ones are:
Communication is sum of all things one person does, when he wants to create understanding in
the mind of another. It is a bridge of meaning. It involves a systematic and continuous process of
telling, listening and understanding (Allen Louis)
Important Characteristics of communication are:
1. Communication is a two way process
2. Communication always happens between or among two or more parties-sender and
receiver.
3. Communication involves and exchange of facts, ideas, feelings or thoughts.
4. Communication uses verbal ways like words spoken or written, or non-verbal ways like
gestures, postures, etc
5. Communication needs a mutuality of understanding between sender and receiver.
Communication with the people outside the organization is called external communication.
External Communications are made with the people for success outside the organization, such
as vendors and customers.

3. Formal and Informal Communication:
When communication is made through the channels to attain goals of the organization is called
a formal communication but when the communication is made without any use of channel and
without any specific agenda is called an informal communication.
4. Oral and Written Communication:
If the communication is made face to face without any help of written material is called oral
communication and when writing materials are used for communication purpose is called written
communication.
5. Spoken Communication:
Spoken communication is one of the most effective communications where the situation does
not permit any other form of communication. Spoken form of communication may be of different
types.
Distortion refers to the way in which the meaning of a communications is lost in handling.
Problems of communication can be overcome by:
1. Proper planning of message
2. Not to omitting or overloading of information
3. Avoiding technical jargon and non-verbal cues
4. Checking the recipients status
5. Using appropriate channel or medium
6. Trying to make the source credible
7. Using free from bias language.

form report?
Ans: Characteristics of the short form reports:
1. The shorter forms of report are very common in business or for any other
communication. Such type of report is prepared on daily basis for making purpose of the
organization. These reports cover only the day to day problems of the organization.
2. If requires little or no introduction
3. Short report directly deals with the problems and furnished with recommendation and
conclusion.
4. The body of a short form report contains the description of the incident or fact on which
the report is prepared.
5. There may be a scanty analysis of events in report understanding of the reader for taking
decision on business or organizational issues.
Long Formal Report:
A long formal report is written on a subject who covers wide area of a problem or to find a
solution of the problem. A long formal report may be a thesis, a dissertation, on ternary report,
on annual report of any organization or any report made for any special purpose.
