General Regulations
1. Registration: 4 weeks before the date of the test
Important note: Please select only one option when you register!
You can register:
By post. It is mandatory to send your entry form (top half only) together with your proof of payment to the
Examinations Services, British Council, Calea Dorobanilor 14, 010572 Bucureti. You can transfer the
money from a bank where you have an account or from Banca Transilvania if you do not have a bank
account, into our account at Citibank Europe plc, Dublin Bucharest, beneficiary British Council, fiscal
registration code C.U.I. no. 9000 0000 26598, account number IBAN RO88 CITI 0000 0008 2601 2196.
Please write your name and the name of the examination on the ordin de plat in the reprezentnd section. If
you choose this option, send your entry form only by post.

2. Documents
Completed lesson plans have to be submitted to the exams centre prior to the examination. Candidates will
receive a lesson plan template as soon as their registration is completed. Please make sure you add
cambridgeesol.org and britishcouncil.ro to your safe senders list in your email account so that important
correspondence is not mistaken for spam.
3.Confirmation of entries
After entries have been received, candidates will be sent an e-mail confirming their entries and timetables. If you
do not receive this e-mail within a week after registration, please contact the British Council Bucharest
Examinations Services for details (021-307 96 00; contact@britishcouncil.ro ).
4. Refunds
A candidate can withdraw their entry only on medical grounds. They may be refunded part of the exam fee (minus
LEI 15), provided that a written request is made to the British Council Examinations Services, accompanied by an
original statement from a medical practitioner. These should be handed in to the Examinations Services no later
than 5 days after the examination date. Refunds are not granted for any other reason (including, for example,
clash of dates with local examinations).
5. Results
Results / certificates are issued to candidates in approximately 3 weeks after the exam. You will be notified via
e-mail when certificates can be collected.

The British Council and the Examining Boards take all reasonable steps to provide continuity of service. We feel sure you will
understand, however, that we cannot be held responsible for any interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control. If
examinations or their results are disrupted, cancelled or delayed, every effort will be made to resume normal service as soon as
possible. The British Councils liability will be limited to the refund of the registration fee or re-testing at a later date.
