    Welcometothe20152016schoolyear.Asthefirstdayofschoolquicklyapproaches,theAMSPTOhasstartedto
    workonplansforvariouseventsandprogramsforourstudents.
    InanefforttohelpraisethenecessaryfundstosupporttheAMSstudents,thePTOisorganizingaPledgeDriveinan
    appealtoAMSfamiliestodonatemoneydirectlytotheStudentActivityAccount.100%oftheproceedsfromthe
    PledgeDrivewillgodirectlytowardsFamilyFunNights,NightsofExcellenceandMusic,MCASandStudentofthe
    Monthbreakfasts,HonorRollawards,TeacherAppreciationDay,8thGradeMovingOnCeremonyandDance,field
    trips,studentagendabooks,avarietyofschoolsuppliesrequestedbyourteachersfortheirclassroomsandmuchmore.
    Lastyear,thePledgeDriveraisedover$1,500indonations.Ourgoalforthisyearistotryanddoublethatbyraising
    $3,000.Yourdonation,largeorsmall,willbegreatlyappreciatedandwillallowustoreducethenumberoftraditional
    fundraisersheldthroughouttheschoolyeartoreachourtotalgoalof$15,000.Weunderstandthatnoteveryfundraiser
    istherightfitforeveryfamily,andthePledgeDriveoffersfamiliesthechoicetooptoutbymakingtheirdonationonly
    oncedirectlytoAMStosupporttheirchildren'seventsandactivities.WeencourageallAMSfamiliestoconsider
    participatinginthePledgeDriveAND/ORanyofthefundraisersasyouareabletothroughouttheschoolyear.
