MWK -- Flytrap Music Hall (Tulsa, OK) -- 2/18/10

[Kyle walks out, sits at the drumkit, and begins playing the first song. Neal walks
out, picks up his guitar, takes his place on stage, and also begins playing the first
song. Andy, Joey, and David walk out, pick up their instruments, and take their
places on stage. Andy salutes the crowd.]

VERA

[Andy takes off his hat]

Andy: What's goin' on?

[crowd cheers and starts clapping in time to the next song. Andy tosses his hat on
the floor and then puts his hands above his head and starts clapping too]

Andy: Get 'em up!

[Andy and the crowd clap together until the song starts]

ONE TRUE THING

[crowd is cheering]

Andy: Whew

[crowd continues cheering]

Andy: How you guys doin' tonight?

[crowd cheers and claps. Andy picks up his hat and puts it back on]

Andy: Wow.

[crowd continues cheering]

Andy: You guys are loud! Holy--

[crowd cheers even louder. Andy steps back from the mic and plugs his ears]

Andy: I asked for that one, I guess.

[Andy tunes his guitar]

Andy: So thanks for comin' out. Give it up for the opening bands. Bryan Jewett,
Nothing More, and Paco Estrada and One Love.

[crowd cheers]
Andy: We're gonna do an older song. This is called "Godspeed."

GODSPEED

JUDGING A BULLET

[Andy takes off his hat midway through the song and throws it on the floor. David
picks it up and puts it on. He then walks to the back of the stage, takes the hat off,
and sets it down]

[Andy is tuning his guitar as the crowd cheers]

Andy: Thank you very much.

[crowd cheers as Andy walks to Neal's amp and picks up a bottle of water. He
returns to the center microphone and takes a drink, then closes the bottle and puts
it on the floor]

Andy: We're gonna do this next song. I think a lot of you guys [pauses and runs his
hand over his hair] know this and you've seen us play it. It's from our uh, actually
our new, newest hard copy EP that we just got. [points to the back of the room]
Which is over there.

[crowd cheers]

Andy: Called "Luna Despierta" EP. Song's called "Anodyne."

ANODYNE

[A smoke machine on stage starts releasing large amounts of smoke, and it begins
to engulf the stage.]

Andy: So it's been like, three years or so -- two or three years -- since we played in
Tulsa.

[crowd cheers]

Andy: And uh, not a, not a lot of you guys were here. But we're glad you're here
now.
[As Andy is talking, David grabs a camera from out of the crowd and takes a picture
of Kyle, who has been completely surrounded by smoke and is not even visible
anymore. He then returns the camera to the audience member. In the meantime,
Andy walks to Neal's amp, where he grabs a wedge of lemon and sucks on a it for a
few seconds before returning to his microphone. As he's returning, he looks back
toward the area where the smoke machine is sitting]

Andy: What is goin' on back there?

[crowd cheers. Andy looks back toward Kyle]

Andy: That's our way of...of uh, letting Kyle go.

[crowd laughs]

Andy: We really just didn't want Kyle [motions to Kyle] to play with us. And
nobody-- nobody knows he's here. I don't think you can even see us anymore,
actually.

[Andy picks up his water bottle]

Andy: We have gone back to 1987, and Kyle is not alive.

[Andy takes a drink out of his water bottle as crowd cheers]

Andy: So I'm feelin' a little hoarse. You guys wanna help me out?

[crowd cheers. The smoke has gotten so bad that it has engulfed the entire stage
and has made its way into the front row of the audience. Andy strums his guitar as
the audience members and David wave their arms trying to make the smoke
dissipate]

Andy: Seriously? Is that thing still on? This is getting ridiculous.

Neal: It's still going.

[Andy, David, and Joey briefly converse]

Andy: Is-- yeah. Is there a fire?

[crowd laughs]

Andy: No? There's not?

[Andy steps back and looks toward Kyle. David notices people taking pictures]

David: Why are you taking pictures? There's nothin' to see.

Andy: I am honestly a little worried.

[David laughs and claps]

Andy: But it's OK. I think.

[Andy turns around and faces the back of the stage. He then walks toward Neal's
amp, disappearing into the smoke. About 20 seconds later, Andy appears from
within the smoke and returns to center stage. He is holding a can of beer. He holds
the can up to the microphone, opens it, and takes a drink. He then puts the can on
the floor next to him. The band stands around waiting for the smoke to dissipate.
David waves his arm to try to get it the smoke to go away]

Andy: Alright. [runs his hand over his hair] This is gonna be fun. We're gonna play.
[David walks over to Andy] It's just gonna be like [waves his arm in a small
circle]you're listening to a CD....

[Andy glances at David, who tells him that he can't see him in the smoke]

Andy: ...because you can't see a band.

[Andy glances back toward the drumkit, where Kyle is enveloped in smoke]

Andy: Kyle, are you ready? I can't tell.

[crowd laughs and cheers. David doubles over laughing. The band looks back
toward Kyle to make sure he is indeed ready]

Andy: Alright.

[the smoke has cleared from the stage]

Andy: Thank you very much.

[crowd cheers]

Andy: The f-- the fog is lifting. From the show.

[crowd cheers as Neal starts the next song. Andy takes a few drinks from his can of
beer, sets it back down, and points to Neal.]

Andy: Give it up for Neal Tiemann over there on guitar.

STUCK UNDER WHEELS

[Andy walks back to Neal's amp and sucks on a lemon, then returns to the center
microphone as the crowd cheers]

Andy: Well thank you, thank you.

[Andy adjusts something on the box clipped to his pants.]

Andy: We're gonna do another song that off the uh, the newest...the [makes
"quote" sign with his fingers] "newest" album. EP.

[Andy starts tuning his guitar]

Andy: A lot of you guys already have it.

[crowd cheers]

Andy: Yes. Thank you. And we've got some more [points to the back of the room]
new hard copies. He's holdin' em right there. You saw 'em. Go buy the other, the
other band's CDs, too. I think Paco and One Love have uh, have some CDs over
there. [points to the back of the room] There they are. Go talk to-- go talk to Paco.
He's an awesome dude.

[crowd cheers. Andy finishes tuning his guitar]

A SCARLET LETTERS

[Andy picks up his beer and holds it up]

Andy: Hey cheers!

[Andy goes back to Neal's amp and sucks on a lemon for a few seconds. He then
returns to the center microphone, lemon and beer in hand]

Andy: You guys don't ever just suck on lemons for fun?

[Andy takes a sip of his beer]

Andy: They're nice.

[Andy sucks on the lemon once more, then turns and tosses it behind him. He
takes another sip of his beer]

Andy: This next song is uh...I'm gonna dedicate it to Mary Lockhart. [points out into
the audience] Who's right back there. [points with other hand] And if you turn
around you'll see her. She's right there. Bryan Jewett's standin' next to her.

[crowd cheers]

Andy: Jewett's gonna love that. I can see it on her face.

[Andy takes another sip of his beer and looks over at Neal, who has said something
to him. He then puts the beer on the stage next to him]

Andy: Neal can't, though. This song's called "Circles' Anthem."

[David, Joey, and Kyle leave the stage]

Andy: Neal-- Neal and myself, we're gonna do a... [whispers] a softer song.

[crowd cheers]

Andy: A quieter song. But uh...we've actually played this [pauses and puts hand
behind his head] uh, a few times. Quite a few times when we were playin' [points
outward] down the street at the Full Moon Cafe. Every...

[crowd cheers]

Andy: ...every Thursday or so.

[Andy starts tuning his guitar]

Andy: Good friend Tony Henry owns that place. Anyways, its uh... [strums guitar to
make sure it's in tune]. It, it is actually on that [points to back of the room] new CD.
It's a d-- a demo version of that song. So...if you like it, you can uh, you can keep it.
