Automated Bore Welding Machine

Simple & Fast Repair of Damaged Bore Holes

Innovative Welding System Provides Continuous, Consistent, Uniform
Weld to Build Up and Repair Bores
The Bore Welder solves the expensive problem of
repairing worn bores on motors, frames and other
equipment. It's portable, weighing only 22 pounds, is
easy to set up, and thus moves easily to the repair site
whether in the field or in the shop.

The Bore Welder offers both

rotary and axial motion. As
the torch rotates, it deposits
one continuous layer of metal
inside the bore. A variety of
torches allow buildup of
bores from .5" to 54" (1.3 cm
to 137 cm). The larger
model can build up bores
from 12" to 144" (30.5 cm to
365.7 cm).

The Bore Welder can

be mounted on the
worn part and can fit
inside the bore to be
repaired. An adapter
plate (not included
with the machine)
may be required to
fit the welder over
the bore to be
repaired.

Power Supply
Compatibility Information
Numerous welding power supplies can be used with the 306-Z Bore
Welder. In order to use the full potential of the 306-P, you need a
continuous welding current of about 200 amps. The power supply must
be of the constant voltage (CV) type (The type suitable for MIG
welding.), and it should have remote voltage control capabilities.
The 306-Z comes equipped with a power supply control cable with a
connector on one end for attachment to the control box. The other end
must be attached directly to the power supply, or to a connector that
will mate properly with the power supply to be used.
The 306-Z can be interfaced with power supplies that provide contactor
actuation current, and those that do not.
