Chapter Two: Field Calibration Guide

2.1. Introduction
There are several variable resistors(SVR or potential-meter) on the
PCB. They are used for the adjustments of set points which vary
from different electrical applications.
2.2.Tools Required

Tools
Description
1. True RMS Multi-Meter : Digital type
2. Variable Transformer
: AC output range from 0-300V, 10-15A
adjustable
3. DC Power Supply
: DC output range from 0-60V, 3A
adjustable
4. True RMS Power Meter : Digital(including VA, W, PF, Hz,
Voltage, Current)
5. Screw Driver
: flat-type, cross-type
Note: Most of the multimeters are Average type, with which read a stepwave AC voltage will result in a
wrong readout. Therefore, a true RMS meter is definitely
required for reading stepwave output.
