This is a complaint against Stanton Hazlett for failing to recuse/disqualify

himself from a

complaint I made against Kurt Loy. He states that the Kansas Bar Association or Kansas
Bar Foundation is in no way connected to "The Disciplinary Administrator's Office".
I beg to differ, because I think one thing they all have in common is you have to be a
member of the BAR to be a member of any of these 3 committees as well. Stanton Hazlett is
failing to investigate matters where he has been provided evidence and instead results to
name calling like "frivolous" and "hunch".
He was provided plenty of evidence of a financial conflict of interest between city economic
board member Mark Werner and Judge Kurtis Loy through Stillwell Heritiage Education
Foundation. I think anytime a past law partner of someone who forgives $200,000 and
then gives another $67,000 is plenty of evidence of a financial economic interest. He also
fails to investigate Burton Harding on a "hunch" when he was provided articles of
incorporation showing that the judge still owns 99.5% of a corporation!!!!!!!

KIDDING ME?????? He also is failing to investigate matters because in the last statement of
his response in his December 31, 2014 letter he states on the last line that "I am confident
that Judge Loy will recuse himself from that case once he learns it has been assigned to
him"!!!!! How would Stanton Hazlett have any idea at all that judge Loy would recuse
himself once he learns of his assignment. Is this how Stanton Hazlett investigates every
complaint that comes to him about a judge. I suppose Mr. Hazlett would have confidence
that recently terminated 11th judicial district magistrate Bill Lyerla followed all his duties
properly as well yet he just got fired for obviously not following his judicial duties. Does
Mr. Hazlett simply just say "I have confidence the judge did not or will do whatever the
opposite of what the complainer says??? Or is it just the fact he won't investigate my
complaints because I'm from Africa and I'm black???
How can he be so confident unless he is good friends with Kurtis Loy and knows what he
will do??? How can he be so confident without calling Judge Loy or investigating the matter
like he says??? How is a copy of a docket where the case was filed on 9-25-14 and
terminated on 10-17-14 not enough time for a judge to learn a case has been assigned to
him??? The case was terminated over sixty (60) days ago. Why hasn't the court computers
been updated when Judge Wachter signed the order in this case like K.S.A.60-2601.abd,
and K.S.A.60-2601a. states are the duties ofthe clerk of the court???
Please investigate Stanton Hazlett for failing to investigate matters and calling evidence a
"hunch" when it seems to me that he went on a "hunch" that "he's confident Judge Loy will
recuse himself from that case once he learns it has been assigned". There is no way

anyone could be confident unless they actually investigated the matter which he
claims he did not do.
