The Curb the Congestion #CurbBlurb Twitter Contest ("Contest") begins at 6:00 a.m.

(PST) on Saturday, July 11,,


2015 and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 (the "Contest Period"). The contest is delivered
by Community Transit.
1. ELIGIBILITY. The Contest is open to all Washington state residents ages 18 and up. Community Transit Employees
are not eligible to participate/win.
2. SUBMISSIONS. Tweets submitted for contest entry must include the hashtag #CurbBlurb. Community Transit
reserves the right to disapprove submissions for any reason, including, but not limited to obscene, offensive or
non-relevant submissions and such submissions will be deemed ineligible for the contest.
3. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. HOW TO PLAY: Enter by tweeting a message including #CurbBlurb to @CurbIt_CT.
4. PRIZES: a. During the contest one winner per month will receive their choice of a $50 gift card to REI, Shell, or
Chevron, or a bus voucher valued at $50. Winner will be notified via Direct Message, and the prize will be mailed to
their address.
b. Weekly prizes for Best Blurb will be the winners choice of a $25 gift card to REI, Shell, or Chevron, or
a bus voucher valued at $25. Winner will be notified via Direct Message, and the prize will be mailed to their
address.
5. MONTHLY DRAWING: Winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning are
determined by the total number of votes received.
WEEKLY WINNER: One eligible entry per week will be selected by Community Transit staff as the Best Blurb.
Weekly winners are solely at the discretion of staff.
6. PRIZE CLAIM: Noncompliance by a potential winner will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be
selected. Any prize notification email returned as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate
winner will be selected. Contest prizes must be claimed prior to October 15 at 5:00p.m. PST or prize is forfeited.
Claimed prizes will be awarded.
7. Each entrant consents to the Contest Organizers use of his/her name, photograph, voice, statement and image
for any programming purposes, in all media, without remuneration, throughout the world in perpetuity.
8. Entrants will not be individually contacted, except for declared winners, who will be contacted by Twitter direct
message.
9. GENERAL RULES: Each entrant grants the Contest Organizer full permission and authority to use their Twitter
account handle to notify a contest winner; to re-use and license the use of their voice, name, photograph or
likeness in any promotional activity related to them being a contest winner, except where prohibited by law and
that they are entitled to no further compensation.
10. By entering this contest, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Contest
Organizer, which are final, binding and conclusive on all matters relative to this Contest. The Contest Organizer
reserves the right to disqualify entrants who fail to follow these official rules and regulations or who make any
misrepresentations relative to the Contest, drawing and redemption of prizes.

11. The Contest Organizer assumes no responsibility for: entries lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected, or
for the failure, interruption, technical malfunction or delay of any communication to be received, for any reason;
any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by any technical or human error which may occur in the
processing of entries in the Contest; the malfunction of, or damage caused to, any telephone network or lines.
12. Prizes are non-transferable, must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged by a declared winner for
cash or other substitutes. The refusal by an entrant to accept any prize or any part of the prize releases and forever
discharges the Contest Organizer and their agents of all obligations related to the prize, including delivery.
13. The Contest Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to amend, cancel,
close, suspend or reinstate this Contest at any time and for any reason whatsoever.
14. By entering the contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Official Contest Rules and Regulations. Each
entrant releases the Contest Organizer, and its departments, divisions, and contractors, from any damage, loss or
liability suffered as a result of or arising from the entrants participation in the Contest or use of any prize. These
Official Contest Rules and Regulations are subject to change at the discretion of the Contest Organizer without
notice to contest entrants individually.
