Media and Content Creation & Writing Executive

Reports to: Marketing Director
Location: Maple House, Tottenham Court Road, London

Overview of the role:
Informa Life Sciences are recruiting for a Digital Media and Content Creation & Writing Executive.
The position will develop and manage content for online communities across our event brands. This
will include areas within the Life Sciences industry clinical, regulatory affairs, pharmaceutical law,
medical devices and diagnostics, biopharmaceutical, veterinary and agrochemicals.
Note that someone who is an excellent writer (e.g. could have a journalist background), and knows
how to tailor the content for various digital channels may prove to be a successful candidate even if
he/she has limited knowledge of digital media. Knowledge of the Life Science industry is a must for
this role.
Role Specifics:

Help determine in conjunction with our Conference Producers and Marketing Managers the type
of content required, how to obtain it, and how best to use it.
Source content from speakers, sponsors, media partners as well as general industry news. The
ability to work with a range of external and internal people will be key.

Produce video content we have an in-house studio to help in the production of this which the
Exec will make use of.

Coordinate the dissemination of the content through various social media channels through
other internal staff or writing the content him/herself.
Help develop use of an at event networking App.

Track the success of all the above through Google analytics and in-house stats packages,
interpreting the results to improve our content offering.



The Digital Media Executive will report to a Divisional Marketing Manager but will work with a
variety of internal people including:
