Panchkarma Attendant Training
Application in the prescribed Form are invited upto Dated 30-4-2015 for
Panchkarma attendants for three months duration training Programme to Globalisation
of Ayurvedic Panchkarma therapy and implementation of the CMDA. 10 seats are
reserve for SC Candidates & other 10 seats are reserve for other Categories. Training
will be free of cost for SC Candidates & Chargeable for other Categories.

Prospectus

1- Aim and Object :Centuries old sciences of life rather complete science of life in the world. The Ayurveda is now
better understood and recognized medical system. Especially the Ayuredic Panchkarma has got the
significantly increasing demand in whole world. Panchkarma has a proven practical methodology for
cleansing the body.
This is equally useful to prevent, cure and the rehabilitation of diseases. Keraliya Panchkarma is
now a great attraction for medical tourism in India, many public and private Panchkarma centers running
across the country, resulting in globally increasing demand of Panchkarma therapy.
At present the country has not any concrete course devised for the attendants of this therapy.
Since National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur is the premier institute of India it is our sole responsibility to
devise such a course so as to produce quality therapists/attendants.
This course will cover all the aspects required for the development of technical skills as well as
the basic concepts about the various producers including modern medical concepts.
2. Duration of Course:The course of studies to certificate course for Panchkarma attendants shall consist of three
months.
3. Internship:One month duration
4. To be conducted at Panchkarma training Centre National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, after successful
completion of theory and Practical examination. Certificate shall be awarded after successful completion
of the course and internship. The number of students (male/female) to be admitted to NIA shall not be
more 20 in a batch.
4. Eligibility and Criteria for Admission:1. Qualification- A candidate who has passed the secondary (10th) Examination from the board
of secondary Education, Rajasthan, Ajmer or an equivalent examination recognized by there to shall be
eligible for the admission to the said course.
2. Minimum age for admission:- No candidate shall be admitted to the said course unless he
has attained the age of 17 years on or before the 31 December of the year of admission.
3. Admission shall be four times a year.
4. Admission shall be made in order to merit on the basis of marks secured at the qualifying
examination, provided that reservation of seats belonging to S.T., O.B.C. and physically handicapped etc.
Eligible candidate shall be made as per rules prescribed by the Institute from time to time.
5. 10 Seats will be reserved for S.C. candidates.
6. In each category 50% seats will be filled up from girls.
In case the reserve seats are not filled in particular category, unfilled seats will be transferred to
general seats.
5. Examination:1. There will be one theory and one practical examination after the completion of the course.
2. A candidate who has attended a regular course of study for three months in an affiliated center
and passed it shall be eligible for the certificate of Panchkarma attendant.
3. Candidate who fails in examination in any theory/practical shall be required to reappear in only
those subjects/subjects in which failed.
