FROTTAGE

A paraphilia in which a person derives sexual gratification from

rubbing of ones genitalia or hands (fully clothed or not) against
certain body parts of another person, usually a stranger.
Often occurs in crowded, public settings
Process of toucherism (or frottage):
1. Frotteurs have fantasies where victims wish to have a caring,
affectionate relationship with them
2. Accompanied by strong, irresistible urges to touch others
3. Frotteurs would select a victim that fits their type. Victims are usually
viewed as sexually attractive
4. The touching itself
5. A preferred place where masturbation usually occurs
This behavior typically starts during adolescence and is observed mostly
among males. Offenders usually belong to the 15 to 25 age range. They are
often intelligent, with most belonging to middle and upper classes.
They do not appear as a great danger to society although and treatment
for offenders do not offer a great deal of optimism for change. The concern
now is that frotteurs may incorporate other types of sexual behavior that
offer more danger to others.
KLISMAPHILIA
Sexual arousal linked with receiving enema, either in fantasy or in
actuality
Klismaphilias = erotically fixated in eliminatory function; unknown
causes
Klismaphiliacs can lead a normal life with no one suspecting this sexual
interest. They indulge in this interest privately and secretly.
o some women use this as an alternative to genital intercourse, or
as a masturbatory device
o men are excited by klismaphilia and experience erections when they
are administered enemas as youths
o some try to get others to administer an occasional enema under the
guise of constipation and attempt to conceal their pleasure from the
administrator
o others do it in various transvestite, homosexual, sado-masochistic
settings (and they are not shameful of the act, unlike the previously
mentioned)

even claiming Mae West and Marilyn Monroe to be klismaphiliacs.
BESTIALITY
sex with animals
might occur in either sex:
o a male might induce or force an animal to perform oral sex upon
him or may perform manual manipulation upon the animal
o a female might induce an animal to perform sexual intercourse,
cunnilingus or other forms of sexual stimulation
In Ancient Greece, a moral creature was one who obeyed his impulses
and so if sex was desired and no human whose orifice was available, a
horse, mule or deer are deemed suitable.
In 1300 AD, an English law made sex with animals a capital offense;
the penalty was later on changed to life imprisonment, and then
amended to 10 years
In early colonial America, Thomas Grange was burned to death for
alleged crimes against a mare, a cow, two goats, five sheep, two
calves and a turkey.
In Los Angeles, a man sought revenge (after fighting with his girlfriend)
by raping her pet chicken. The chicken died after the second incident.
Washington is one of 17 states in the United States with no laws
against bestiality. A man from Seattle was reported to have died while
recording a video of having sex with a male horse. This farm is well
known in the area as a place where people can visit and pay to have
sex with an animal and have the act videotaped.
Another form of bestiality is termed formicophilia, wherein sexual arousal
comes from small animals like ants, snails, etc, crawling on a persons
nipples or gentials.
Zoophilia, on the other hand, is different from bestiality in that it includes
no sexual contact with the animal only stroking and fondling. Zoophiliacs
should not be confused with those who have a pet and show affection for it.
Zoophilia is an unnatural fondness for animals that involves distancing from
human (and sometimes sexual) contact to form the physical but noncoital/sexual contacts with animals.
17% of rural males have at some time experienced orgasm with an animal.
The most common animals involved have been calves, sheep, dogs, cats,
geese, and hens.

Jeffrey Dahmer for example was believed to have tortured animals to

their death and performed surgery on them after they died. This
particular form of bestiality is coupled with an element of sadism,
which is called zoosadism.

PYGMALIONISM
Sexual attraction to a statue, doll or mannequin
Its name came from the classic story of Pygmalion, who fell in love with
a statue he had himself made.
Pygmalionists may be those people who are unable to relate personally
and sexually to other human objects.
They have power and control over the inanimate object, and,
moreover, the object can never reject their advances.

within their bodies that can be used to play types that utter obscene words
or phrases (coprolalia).
GERONTOPHILIA
Use of an elderly person as a sexual object
Not easy to detect because of cultural influences on mate selection
(eg. It is not uncommon for a woman to marry a much older man)

3% of all rapes involve victims over the age of 50. But when an elderly
woman is
raped, there is a stronger threat to life, and this attack often results
in the murder of the victim.
When a young man assaults an elderly woman, it falls into the
category of sadistic gerontosexuality. This type of offender manifest
the following traits:
o a history of enuresis until about the age of 25,
o a lack of interest in younger women,
o an inability to contain impulses,
o and a tendency to be violent and aggressive sexually
o *additional: a need for power or sadistic intent to do physical
damage

MYSOPHILIA
Erotic interest in filth
Some experts believe it to be a form of masochism
It is difficult to imagine that someone can be amused or aroused by
what many persons consider to be repugnant, but it is indeed true that
dirt, feces, and so on are erotically arousing to some.

o Some men, for example, are aroused by womens soiled underwear;

others by erotic vomiting.
o There was once a young man who inserted a corncob into his rectum
and then walked outside, dug a hole, and made mud using a garden
hose. He then covered himself with mud and engaged in autoerotic
asphyxia.
COPROLAGNIA & COPROPHILIA
Mysophilia is also found in the forms of coprolagnia and urolagnia in
which erotic gratification is associated with feces and urine,
respectively
Urolagnia: one person urinating into the mouth or onto the body of
another person. It poses no great hazard since urine from an otherwise
healthy person is sterile
o Prevalent in homosexual communities, they are called golden
shower devotees
o Urolagnia clubs: members hold meetings to engage in various
water sports, including urinating on each other and drinking urine.
o About 4% of men and women report to have experienced golden
showers
o 17-year-old boy consumed snow contaminated by horse and cow
urine and while working as a part-time janitor in a school, drank
from unflushed toilets

Coprolagnia: not only perverse, but also very dangerous to the

health of the practitioner because of the bacteria in feces and other
potential health problems
o A Russian nobleman who insisted that his mistress defecate upon
his chest
o Another man had prostitutes relieve their bowels in a golden saucer,
and he would eat the feces with a golden spoon
o A nurse died after being admitted to a hospital for the third time for
a serious illness; it was found that she had been injecting into her
arm a mix of water and feces of her pet parrot.
