I'm Davide Ivagnes, the social media manager of Virtus Roma, one of the most historical
pro basketball team in Europe which currently play in Serie A and Eurocup competion.
During last season Virtus's social media prole was the rst basketball account to get
veried in Italy and one of the few to be veried on Facebook.
My main duty is to update and manage the team social media proles (Twitter, Facebook,
Instagram and Vine) shooting pictures and videos during practice, games , organizing
interview with players, creating web graphics to promote teams event and sponsorships,
organizing contests, provide live-update of the games.
Complementary i help the Marketing division producing the necessary materials such as
Marketing Decks, Newspaper Ads, LED screen ads for the games and graphics/videos to
be aired in the Arena during the season.
In addition i help team manager and coaching sta in their duties and provide an important help to the whole sta and team.
I'm already in the business but i want denitely keep growing, learn and give my contribution in a bigger stage. My motivation and passion for the basketball business is unlimited.
Ive already turned my passions in a job but i want denitely keep improving my career
with humility and determination.
