KARNATAKA BIODIVERSITY BOARD

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for different temporary project based
positions as, Technical Executives / Research Associates / Executive Assistants / Consultants,
Second Division Assistant / Data Entry Operator etc., in Karnataka Biodiversity Board for
engaging the services for upto 11 months which may be extended based on performance and
requirement in the organisation.
The candidates should be prepared for extensive tour through out Karnataka and should have
an aptitude in dealing with local people. They will be provided Travelling allowance when on
official duty as per rules, in addition to their consolidated monthly remuneration.
Excellent spoken and written Kannada and English and proficiency in basic computers and
M.S.Office applications is desirable.

I. Qualifications (Research Associates/ Technical Executives / Executive Assistants):
Minimum qualification of the Research Associates/Technical Executives/Executive Assistant
is post Graduate in related subject. One year of relevant work experience is desirable. The
salary of those who are having different experience will be fixed as per following table:

Even a higher remuneration for a particular candidate can be considered if recommended by

the selection committee subject to approval of the Board.
Age limit: Maximum age 35 years.

II. Qualification (for Consultants):

Post Graduate in Bio-science with minimum 4 years of relevant experience. However, for
those who are having more than 10 years of experience, minimum qualification is relaxed to
graduate with Bio Science subjects.
Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 30,000/-per month fixed.
Age Limit: 35 years, it is relaxed if some experienced retired Government servant is found
suitable.
III. Qualification
a) Executive Assistant (Accounts)
B.Com with Tally and 5 years of experience.
Upper age limit 35 years, It is relaxed if some experienced retired Government servant is
found suitable.
Salary Rs. 18,000/- Rs. 20,000/[[

b) Second Division Assistant (Accounts):

B.Com graduate with Tally, Computer knowledge in Kannada and English with 5 years of
experience.
Age limit 35 years.
Salary: Rs. 16,000/- fixed.
c) Data Entry Operator:
Any graduate with Computer knowledge in Kannada and English with 5 years of experience.
Good typing speed required. Practical test will be conducted.
Upper Age limit: 35 years.
Salary: Rs. 13,000/- fixed.
Last date for receipt of application: 20/7/2015.
Karnataka Biodiversity Board will acknowledge the receipt of every application. Thereafter
only candidates short listed for the interview will be intimated. The Interview will be held on
27/7/2015 at 11.00AM.
Attested certificates along with originals should be produced only upon invitation for
interview. Upon offer of appointment, the candidate would be required to sign a contract
which can be terminated by giving one month notice anytime during the period of
employment.
Proof of experience should be brought at the time of interview.
