Mountaineer is an unforgettable experience, a

the romance of rail travel as it follows the historic train route constructed more than 100 years
ago through Canadas West and the Canadian
Rockies. The entire train ride takes place during

The Rocky Mountaineer train travels in both

PACKAGE PRICES: *The rates shown are per
person in US dollars based on double occupancy
(twin rate). Rates shown are starting from and
hotel category selected. Pricing varies based on
travel dates selected. Prices shown in brochure
do not include Govt, misc fees/taxes, travel
insurance, car rental or optional excursions. The
prices are based on the rate of exchange between
the U.S. and Canadian dollar at time of printing.
Single, triple, quad and child rates available
upon request and subject to availability based

com. CANADA la Carte reserves the right to
adjust prices according to fluctuations in exchange
rates. Upon receipt of applicable deposit, prices
are guaranteed against any increases. Price
quotes that are not confirmed are valid for 10
business days only. All itineraries are subject to
change. VIA Rail reserves the right to substitute
sleeping accommodation.
SERVICE CHARGES & TAXES: All provincial
and federal taxes & service charges are included
in all pricing. Applicable tax rebates have been
calculated and rebated accordingly. No further
rebate may be claimed on behalf of the Foreign
Convention & Tour Incentive program. All prices
include service fees, which cover administration
and communication costs incurred to pre-book
your vacation.
MAKING CHANGES TO YOUR RESERVATION:
Any changes made 45 days or less prior to
departure are subject to a $50 fee for each
change. Changes to the departure date, hotel or
other component within 30 days of the departure
date make the booking subject to full cancellation
charges plus any cancellation fees charged by
the supplier(s).
DEPOSIT & PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS: A $200
per person deposit plus insurance premium, if
applicable, is required within 5 days of your
reservation being confirmed to you; otherwise
your booking will be automatically cancelled. The
balance of the trip cost is due 45 days prior to
your trips departure. Some packages have more
stringent deposit requirements and are noted
with the special cancellation policies on this page.
PAYING BY CREDIT CARD: We accept payment
by VISA, MasterCard and Diners. Your verbal
authorization of the use of your credit card
indicates your compliance with our Booking
Terms & Conditions and confirms your reservation
whether or not you have actually signed the
appropriate draft. Note: the payment transaction
is processed in U.S. funds in Canada. Some credit
card issuing banks may charge an additional fee
for this type of sale. Check with your bank to see if
this is applicable as these fees are not reimbursed
by CANADA la Carte.
LATE BOOKINGS: Reservations made 45 days or
less prior to departure are welcome and require
full payment guaranteed by credit card, which
is fully refundable if the reservation cannot be
confirmed. Any bookings made 45 days or less
prior to departure date will be subject to regular
cancellation penalties at time of booking, if the
booking is confirmed.
FUEL SURCHARGES Fuel surcharges (and

applicable taxes) may be applied at any time for
any transportation service. Clients will be advised
at the time of booking if any surcharges apply.
CANCELLATION & REFUNDS: Cancellation
charges include the HST/GST amount. Please
note that some packages have special cancellation

(one per booking) complete with a personalized
itinerary with driving or travel instructions, maps,
brochures and guides to the region.

OPTIONAL CAR RENTAL INFORMATION:
Car rental costs are not included in drive
vacation packages and are the responsibility
of the renter and are payable to the car
company at the time of car drop off.
Should the customer prefer to book their car
rental through CANADA la Carte rates do not
include: gasoline, Loss/Damage Waiver (LDW) and
the following conditiona apply: Personal Accident
Insurance (PAI) (available upon request), second
drivers, meals, attractions, applicable drop off
charges if the vehicle drop off is at a different
from the pick-up point, National Park. Entrance
Fees (available upon request), hotel parking fees
and airport fees. (Drop-off, LDW and PAI charges
are subject to change at any time by the car
rental company). To cover costs not included
in the rental, a deposit of a valid credit card
acceptable to the rental agency will be required.
We recommend that you check your personal
credit card for insurance policy for car rental
insurance coverage. Renter must be 25 years
of age and possess a valid drivers license. Car
rental is based on a 24-hour period. A minimum
car rental period of 2 days applies.
PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP: All U.S. citizens must
carry a valid passport. CANADA la Carte will not
assume responsibility for passenger(s) not having
appropriate documentation.
RESPONSIBILITY: TTWI Inc (the Operator),
headquartered at 1745 - 114th Avenue SE,
Bellevue, WA 98004-6930, is licensed to market
and distribute Travel Products under the name
CANADA la Carte and is responsible to you
for making arrangements for the tour services
offered in this brochure, including transportation,
sightseeing and hotel accommodation.
The Operator acts as an agent for and makes
arrangements with airlines, hotels, railroads,
car rental, bus lines, cruise lines, adventure
companies as described in this brochure and
other independent parties to provide you and/
or your client with the travel services and
accommodations. Although great care is taken
in choosing suppliers, the Operator is unable
to directly control them and therefore cannot
be held responsible or liable for their acts or
omissions. The travel services are subject to the
conditions imposed by these suppliers, and their
liability maybe limited by their tariffs, conditions
of carriage and international conventions and
agreements.

If after your travel commences, the services in the

tour cannot be supplied, or there are any changes
to the itinerary for reasons beyond the controls
of the Operator, they will substitute comparable
services or provide a full refund. A full refund of
monies shall constitute full settlement between
the Operator and you. The Operator can assume
no responsibility for lost tickets or vouchers.
In the unlikely event that you experience problems
during your vacation, please forward a written
account of your concerns to the Operator
within 30 days of completion of the service(s) in
question. The Operator cannot assist in resolving
claims involving supplier(s) that are received after
30 days. The Operator will make best efforts to
deal with the supplier(s) in question and endeavor
to receive a fair settlement for you from the
supplier(s).

subject to change based on operating dates and
weather conditions.
