At the end of the program, the students understand that a child whose musicality is developed
1. Is aurally and visually responsive to the building blocks of music and how these are put
together;
2. Has developed functional musical skills (reading, improvising, creating) and play instruments
as applied to given particular situations;
3. Can sing different kinds of songs and play instruments musically alone and with others; and,
4. Has developed positive attitudes, discipline essential to musical making and openness to a
variety of genres and musical cultures.
