Mobile Phone Cables

There are several methods of connecting a cell phone. As

the most stable and with the highest data transfer rate is
generally considered the cable, opposed to IrDA and
Bluetooth. It is therefore the preferable method for phone
data transfer. Furthermore, using cables for connecting
phones does not require any changes in the device being
inspected.

Data Cable Set

This Data Cable Set comprises of 23 cables, optional SIM
card reader and IrDA adapter.
You can find recent version of this document and also cable
compatibility list at http://www.mobiledit.com/redirect?

2. Start the MOBILedit! Software or Forensic Express.
3. Run the Connection Wizard either using program

Device Drivers
Although the drivers intended for use with the supplied
cable set are enclosed within the Complete Driver Pack

to=drivers, more recent drivers may be available at the
manufacturers web site. We check for manufacturer drivers
every time new version of MOBILedit! software is released,
and update driver pack accordingly, therefore always check
our website for most recent version of driver pack. In case
device is not recognized even after installing driver pack,
refer to device manufacturer website for drivers.
Some devices may also have additional software
requirements (for example Windows Mobile and Windows
