PURPOSE:

The purpose of this assignment is to specifically enable learners to analyse and discuss the
various forms of information technology security threats facing organizations today. Learners
will learn to carry out literature review to enable them to propose information system security
solutions based on comparative studies done on other organizations or based on their selected
readings.

REQUIREMENT:

Select a well known organization which had experienced a security attack on its information
system. You are required to analyze and discuss the root cause/s of this problem and study
the impact of this problem on the selected organization. Finally, you are required to propose
a well justified indepth information security solution to enhance the organizations
information system security.

TASK

1.) Survey the literature and write report on information system security (20%)

2.) Select a well known organization and provide a description of the organization.(5 %)

3.) Describe security attack on the selected company. You are expected to identify the
problems and. to investigate, analyze and discuss all contributing causes to the
problem ( or how did the problem occur). and also discuss the impact of the problem
on the organization. (35%)
