STUDENT INFO SYSTEM

ABSTRACT:
Student info sytem deals with the maintenance of the students attendance
details. It is maintains the attendance of the student on basis of presence in class. It is
maintained on the daily basis of their attendance. If any student is absent for particular
subject, The sms alert will go to their parents that their child did not attend to that
class. The staff, student, and parent will be provided with the separate username &
password to make the students status.
EXISTING SYSTEM:
In Existing System, The staffs handling the particular class responsible to
make the attendance for all students. But, Only if the student present on that particular
day, the attendance will be calculated. The SMS alert will go only the students who
are absent on that particular day but not the students who are not attending to
particular subjects.
PROPOSED SYSTEM:
To overcome the problem of Existing system, This system was proposed by
maintaining the every student attendance details hour by- hour and sends the sms to
their parents by using web portal. It can also send percentage of attendance for every
month by calculating this hour to-hour attendance. If any student is in shortage of
his/her attendance it can intimate to their parents directly. We can also know our
attendance percentage and also how many leaves I can take instead of asking any staff
or class incharge in college by using this system. As the attendances are maintained in
registers it has been a tough task for admin and staff to maintain for long time. Instead
the software can keep long and retrieve the information when needed.
MODULE DESCRIPTION:
The system should be designed in such a way that only authorized people
should be allowed to access some particular modules. The records should be modified
by only administrators and no one else. The user interface should be consistent so that
the user can handle the application with ease and speed.

Student Details:
In this module deals with the allocation of roll no and personal details with their

phone numbers for new batch. It will generate of personal details of student and
academic details of the students with the photos.

Staff Details:
It helps to allot the subject and the subject code to the particular staff.
It provides the facility to have a user name and password to the staff.

Attendance details:

It will be makes to the attendance database all students. Entered

attendance to stored in the database subject ,period wise into the particular date.
It will helps to the get report of weekly and consolidate of the

Attendance.

SMS Alerts:
It will maintain all the phone numbers of every student.
It will helps us to send sms about the attendance status of student.

Report details:
Report can be taken by daily,weekly and consolidate:
weekly report get all hour details of attendance percentage starting
date to ending date and send sms to every student.
Consolidate report get all student attendance details starting date to
ending date status helps them for the eligibility criteria of the student
to attend the examination or to pay any condonation.
