ABSTRACT
The study focuses on the Training and Development in ACS. Arcadia
consulting services (ACS)has been delivering services and solutions to
healthcare industry in workflow automation of transcription services.
Training and development is the field concerned with organizational
activity aimed at bettering the performance of individuals and groups in
organizational settings. Rapid changes in technology and growth of
organizations require training and development programme to fill the gap
between level of skills required in an employee, and those already possessed
by him/her.

ACS has assembled an experienced and talented team of professionals

in all facets of business including Management, Technology Infrastructure,
Application Development & Testing, Transition/Application Roll Out, Sales &
Marketing, Accounting, HR and Administration. This team is geographically
spread between Canada, US and India.
ACSs automation solutions currently cover 10 practice areas including
Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Gastroenterology,
Endocrinology, Hematology, Oncology and Nephrology.
The main objective is to study the effectiveness of the training and find
the factors that dissatisfies employee training programmed and to create
awareness among the employees towards the training program.

The

research instrument used in the study is Questionnaire. The statistical tool

used for analysis in the study is chi-square.
From the findings of the study the suggestions are given to the company to improve
the training program which may lead to increased productivity in ACS.
