March - May 2015 Newsletter!

Greetings everyone and happy spring, summer or winter!!

We are heading into winter, so enjoy some
summer fun for us. We want to take a
moment to say thanks to all of you who
partner and invest in us through prayer and
financial support, please know that your
investment is making a difference in the
lives of the children. We also want you to
know that you are in our prayers and that
you are a vital part of this ministry team.!

What have we been doing! We have been extremely busy with

Kids Bible clubs, youth movie nights and many other projects in
our first five months of ministry in 2015.!

Kids bible clubs. We work with over 250 children in six clubs
each week. Many of these children walk up to 45 minutes each
way to come to the weekly bible club It is amazing how these
children remember the scripture verses they are taught each
week; they are so smart. One little 5 year old, David, memorized
and recited his memory verse each week without fail, but he is
just one of so many. Sometimes I ask myself are we making a
difference, then I remember
Isaiah 55:11 (paraphrased) His
word will not return void, so as
the children hide Gods word in
their heart, I know the Holy
Spirit is at work. We just
finished an 8-10 week series of
who is Jesus and rewarded
their hard work with a small
make-shift store where they
could use their points earned by
participation, bringing guests,
learning the weekly memory
verse, etc. They had a blast
purchasing little items with their
points. Its so hard to believe
that these kids do not know who
Jesus is and our biggest
surprise was at Easter - they
didnt know Jesus resurrected and only celebrate his death,
however they know now. Many have come to take steps towards
Christ and others have made a profession of faith, so we are
working to disciple them. !

Youth/family movie night: We have held several youth &

family movie nights, showing Facing the Giants and discussing
how we can face any giant in our life with Christ. We have had
great turn-outs and look forward to more. Currently there is no
one working with the youth here. Anyone feeling called?!

Whats next?: We have already had many couples, families

and church missions teams come and work
with us so far this year and now we are
gearing up for a very busy summer. We
have several summer interns and church
teams coming to help in ministry to which we
are grateful. If you have a desire to come to
a beautiful country and work with children
and the people of Ecuador, please contact
us - no team is too small. We are wide open
for the fall/winter months.!

We need help: If God is calling you to

short or long term mission, please pray
about joining us in the field - there is
more work than the two of us can do.!

God is faithful in meeting our needs, but

if the Holy Spirit has been speaking to
you in regards to praying or supporting
us financially, or you have in the past, but
have not for some time, please consider
now.!
