Features by roles:
Parking space owners
(Municipalities, Garages, Shopping Malls, Private):
o Arrange multipurpose usage of each parking space in different periods of time
The same parking space can be used by different customers depending on time frame
(e.g. 08-17 by business users, 17-08 by residents)
o Define permissions and restrictions for different groups of users
Different privileges could be set by the system (e.g. some users can park for maximum 2 hours,
while others can park with no limitations)
o Monitor real time usage
See current usage of its own resources at every moment (any time)
o Detect unauthorized usage
Authorized user of a parking space can report an unauthorized parking. If that happens, in application
red light comes on.
o Get various statistics about parking space usage and users habits
Statistics can be used to plan future steps (optimization of existing usage, re-set of appropriate
pricing policies, extension of parking places, etc.)

o Do everything above by themselves or allow Master Parking Admin of the whole system to do it for them
E.g. Shopping Mall owners parking spaces can be a part of global pool arranged by City Authorities.

Master Parking Admin

o Creates parking space groups
Groups of parking spaces should be somehow similar (by location, by price, by privilege, etc.) for the
easier management.
o Defines the purpose of each group in different periods of time
One parking space can belong to different profiles of users in different time slots (e.g. business and
residential users)
o Defines terms of use for each group
Different price policies and time limitations can be applied to different users (e.g. delivery vehicles can park
for free but time limited, municipality vehicles can park for free but only during working hours, residents can
park and pay after working hours)
o Assigns parking spaces directly to renters
Groups of parking spaces can be assigned exclusively to companies, banks, restaurants, etc.
o Defines ad-hoc usage
Anyone can use these parking spaces by paying through previously defined account or using SMS
(not registered users)
o Monitors real time usage
See current use of ALL parking spaces assigned to the system
o Resolves unauthorized usage
If a user reports unauthorized parking a prompt message pops up on administrative panel. Knowing the
exact location of the parking space, Admin can engage the nearest parking control officer.
o Makes reports and system optimization
Different Business Intelligence (BI) statistics can be used for optimizing the existing use of resource and
suggest improvements.

Renters
(Companies or Customer Oriented Service Providers):
Book groups of parking spaces and use them for their
business needs
Companies and organizations:
o Define their own rules (parking spaces for managers,
clients, employees; time limitations, etc.)
Customer oriented service providers:
o Allow their customers to use parking spaces free of charge
o Validate drivers as their customers
o Set their parking spaces as time limited or not

End users (drivers):

o See available parking spaces in real time using Smart Phones
Drivers can see the nearest available parking space, go there directly and avoid driving around
o Book a parking space in advance
Seeing an available parking space through the application doesnt mean it will stay available when the
customer reaches it. Booking an available parking space makes a big difference.
o Book a parking space on monthly basis
A parking space can be booked and used exclusively 24 hours a day for a whole month or only
during appropriate time slots.
o Use a parking space reserved and paid by somebody else (restaurant, bank, shopping mall, etc.)
Armed with smart phones, drivers can locate and use parking spaces for free as customers of certain
service providers.
o Make cashless payments with or without Smart Phones
Via Android/IOS application or using SMS
o Report unauthorized usage
Users can report an unauthorized usage of previously booked parking space and the nearest officer in charge
will shortly come to help.
