  To check & record welding parameters and verify
compliance with approved Welding Procedure
Specifications (WPS) and technical procedures
 To interview and select Welders and verify
qualifications of Welders for project requirements
 To monitor Welder performance and their repair
rates in accordance with job quality requirements
 To conduct training of Welders for new techniques
 To provide verification of electrodes backing and
holding temperature including control and issue
 To check, inspect and test incoming welding
materials to ensure they meet job quality
specifications
 To conduct fit up and dimension inspections as per
Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and review
radiography test film
 Maintain standards of safety and comply with
Company’s Health, Safety & Environment
Management System requirements.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 Quality Inspection of Welding Materials & consumables

 Should have worked on refinery/ Petrochemical /oil and gas

plants project sites as a Surveyor welding
Inspection/welding supervisor, Should have experience in
welding inspection including review of ITP/WPS/PQR/WPQ,
witness and certification of welding procedures and welders
qualification tests, witness of laboratory mechanical tests,
inspection during fabrication such as bevel preparation, fit
up, welding parameters monitoring, usage of approved
electrodes, WPS, welders etc, final weld inspection, review
of RT films and other NDT reports, monitoring welders
rejection rate, etc. etc.
