TITANIUM

The fastest acting sterile sporicidal disinfectant

Titanium is the fastest acting

sterile sporicidal disinfectant.
Based on Tristels patented Chlorine
dioxide technology, Titanium is a rapid
action sterile sporicidal disinfectant
suitable for use in all grades of cleanroom,
including Grade A.
Why choose Titanium?
Titanium is ideal for surface disinfection within controlled
environments. It can be used on workbenches, shelves,
equipment, printers, heat sealers and surfaces outside of the
LAF cabinet for a daily deep clean and as part of a rotational
regime.

Titanium is non-corrosive under standard use conditions

It can be used on all types of hard non-porous surfaces in the
cleanroom and controlled environment and is compatible with
a wide range of metals, plastics and other materials commonly
found in cleanrooms.

Titanium can be used in all grades of cleanroom,

including Grade A
The Base and Activator solutions are blended with WFI and are
0.2 micron filtered. Titanium is filled and double bagged in a
Grade A cleanroom. The product meets the requirements of the
GMP.

Titanium is intended for use as a daily deep clean and as

part of a rotational regime
It is part of a complete Crystel solution.

The highest level of antimicrobial activity

Titaniums sporicidal efficacy enables the implementation of a
cost effective and easy protocol for the prevention of and a
quick response to positive count situations. Titanium will
prevent and control most risks of microbial contamination,
including bacterial spores.

If a Chlorine dioxide solution is required for larger surface

areas, then Crystel Cry Spore can be used. It is available as a
concentrate or as a 5L ready-to-use solution. Other rotational
products include Crystel Diamond and Crystel Platinum.
Manufactured by Tristel
Titanium is manufactured by Tristel, an accredited
manufacturer that complies with ISO 9001:2008, ISO
13485:2003, European Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC
and European Biocidal Products Regulations (EU) 528/2012.

Tristels patented Chlorine dioxide technology

A 20-year history of innovation
Titanium is based on Tristels patented Chlorine dioxide technology, a highly effective biocide. For more than 20 years, Tristel
has been applying this unique technology in areas requiring high-level disinfection and sporicidal efficacy. These applications
include the decontamination of invasive semi-critical medical devices such as endoscopes and the high-level disinfection of
surfaces within critical areas such as operating theatres, isolation units and intensive care wards. Tristel has been supplying to
the NHS since 1993.
A unique delivery system
Titaniums Base and Activator solutions are kept separate in a unique dual pack of 2 x 300ml. As soon as the trigger is pulled
the two solutions are drawn from the bottles simultaneously and are combined to generate the active working solution.
Titanium working solution contains 180 ppm Chlorine dioxide.
A well-documented biocide
Toxicology studies conducted for the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have shown that there are no reactions
or contra-indications when Tristel was tested for eye irritation, skin irritation, skin sensitisation and acute oral toxicity.
Chlorine dioxide is biodegradable
It does not form toxic trihalomethanes (THMs) or other chlorinated compounds that are harmful to the environment. THMs are a
risk when using chlorine, sodium hypochlorite and hypochlorous acid.

* Organisms show different levels of resistance to disinfectants. Even though there is no absolute rule, a general hierarchy of organisms can be laid out in descending order
of their resistance to disinfectants.

How to use
1

Step 1
Apply Titanium directly onto the surface or onto a dry
wipe. The trigger head can be set to Spray or Stream,
depending on where it is applied.
Step 2
Use the wipe to spread Titanium evenly on the surface.

Step 3
Titanium is sporicidal in 60 seconds.
