Inverse Gas Lift Applications

Numerous wells are now reaching the stage they require gas lift.
Many of these wells were not designed to allow conventional gas lift.
Annulus integrity may be compromised preventing gas injection.
Full depth gas injection may be required.

Inverse Gas Lift Solution

IGLS allows a method of gas injection via an insert string.
Gas Injected through insert string - Coiled Tubing or Macaroni String.
Production via annulus between insert string and existing tubing.
Gas tight casing not required.
Installed using traditional intervention techniques.
Utilises existing tree with new intermediate spool.
Maintains fully functional master valves and SCSSV.
Fully removable with no effect on original completion components.

Inverse Gas Lift Components

The IGLS components consist of the following (bottom to top):
Gas injection valve and coiled tubing.
Dual Flow Safety Valve installed in existing safety valve profile.
Suspension hanger to lock DFSV and lower IGLS in place.
Seal stinger, tubing and concentric hanger.
Intermediate spool to land concentric hanger.

Components Injection Valve

Valves can be run deeper than conventional gas lift
allows to the perforations if desired.
Multiple valves can be used to unload the well.

Components Dual Flow Safety Valve

Locates within existing safety valve seal bores.
Controlled via existing DHSV control line.
Dual flow path, gas through centre & production through annular bore.
Flapper closes off both injection & production paths.
Metal to metal seal on flapper & flow tube nose.
API 14A, Class 1, qualified, rod piston design.
