Load Calculation Summary

Transformer Load:
Total No. of Apartments is 18 and the summation of demand of 18 units is 374 kW (with Electric Geyser)
For 18 apartments, diversity 85% amongst the Apartments is considered, thus the total demand after Diversity is 319.9 kW
say 318 kW. Demand for Common Service Areas including roof is 65 kW
Total Demand of the Project with Electric Geysers is 383 kW, equivalent to 403.15 kVA,
say 403 kVA (at P.F. 0.95). 500 kVA Substation/Transformer will have 97 kVA (19.4%) spare capacity.
Immediate next size of Substation is 630 kVA, which will have 227 kVA spare capacity.
Therefore, with Electric Geyser, 500 kVA Substation Proposed

Generator Load:
Total demand of Project after Diversity (85%) amongst apartments is 383 kW equivalent to 478.75 kVA
at 0.80 P. F. Considering 10% spare capacity, it is 526 kVA
Therefore proposed for 525 kVA or nearest higher commercial size Stand-by capacityDiesel Generator.
