PACKING
2236
PROPERTIES
TEADIT PACKING 2236 is self-lubricating, nonhardening, dimensionally stable and resistant to gases
and fluids as well as heat, pressure and chemicals.
Its high temperature flexible graphite and Inconel
filament jacket affords mechanical stability while the
advanced construction provides leakage control and
high integrity in steam service.
Due to its physical properties and ability to minimize
friction, TEADIT STYLE 2236 is ideal for valves and can
be used within a broad range of applications.

Comments:
x No re-torque was performed on the valve during the test
x During the testing of the valve, keeping the valve bushing in working order was a challenge. This is a
potential cause of the increased opening/closing torque during cycles 750-1000.
x Valve re-packs with Teadit 2236 should be considered as an alternative to complete valve
replacements among end-users.
x See attached complete Test Report provided by United Valve.
