The new compact 50PVB/50PV watercooled package units that offer low
installation cost plus dependable
performance.
The 50PV/PVB single packages air conditioners provide cooling,
dehumidification, filtering and air circulation.

The units are

completely factory assembled, dehydrated, evacuated, leak tested,

pre-charges with R-22, tested run in factory and ready for
installation. With air distribution through ductwork, the 50PVB/PV
provides low cost dependable air conditioning for shops, offices,
restaurants and many other commercial and industrial application.

FEATURES
FEATURES
Compact design with smaller foot-print.
50PVB090 and 125 are equipped with 3-speed direct drive fan motor.
50PVB200 to 250 and 50PV300 to 965 are supplied with taper lock
pulleys and wedge belts for better quality and easy servicing.
Cleanable and compact shell and tube water cooled condenser.
Dependable scroll fully hermetic compressors for 50PVB090 to 250.
Durable and serviceable Carriers 06E semi-hermetic reciprocating
compressors for 50PV300 to 965.
Equipped with safety features like high and low pressure switches,
crankcase heater, lock out relay and solid state anti short cycle timer.
Flexible condenser water pipe connections can easily be changed for
left and right side connections.
Slide-in and slide-out fan deck assembly for easy servicing and
maintenance for 50PVB090 & 125.
Morning mist powder painted cabinet complies with ASTM B117 for 500
hours salt spray test.
Integral filter frame with cleanable filters.
Front access control (50PV750 & 965 have side access control) with
indicator light for power on and fault status.

GUIDE SPECIFICATIONS
GENERAL
Unit shall be single-package vertical type and shall include self-contained watercooled condenser(s).
Total cooling capacity for the unit shall be ______kW, or greater at conditions of
_____l/s evaporator air entering unit at ____C wet-bulb temperature. Total
sensible capacity shall be ____kW or greater with ____C dry bulb temperature at
the above conditions.
Water cooled condenser shall maintain _____ saturated condensing temperature
when supplied with _____l/min of _____C water at a _____ water fouling factor.
Maximum water pressure drop for the condenser(s) at these conditions shall be
_____kPa.
COMPRESSOR(S)
50PVB090 to 250 shall be equipped with Scroll hermetic compressor(s). 50PV300
to 965 shall be equipped with serviceable semi-hermetic reciprocating
compressor.
Compressor(s) shall be mounted with suitable vibration isolators, crankcase
heaters, strainer (50PVB090 to 250), filter drier, discharge shut off valves
(50PV300 to 965) and shall be located in a sound attenuating compartment within
the cabinet.
Compressor (50PV300 to 480) is equipped with unloader for 2 steps capacity
control.
Power input to the compressor motor(s) shall not exceed _____kW at the
conditions specified.
CABINET
Panels shall be factory painted with durable oven cured polyester based powder
paint, which can withstand 500 hours of salt spray test and in accordance with
ASTM B117.
Unit sections shall be insulated with 25.4mm of polyurethane insulations to
prevent sweating and to muffle sound.
The unit dimensions shall be _____mm wide, _____mm deep and _____mm high.
A self contained filter frame for use with standard permanent/throwaway filters of
_____mm X _____mm X _____mm shall be located inside of the cabinet
(50PVB090 to 250) or at the back of the cabinet (50PV300 to 965). Filter shall be
factory supplied.
CONDENSER
Water cooled condenser shall be shell and tube type, it shall be equipped with a
pressure relief device and liquid line shut off valve (50PV300 to 965).
Finned tubes shall be seamless with no interior joints. Threaded pipe connections
shall be provided for water supply and return lines. Each unit shall contain a full
operation refrigerant charge.
EVAPORATOR COIL
Evaporator coil shall be of non-ferrous construction with aluminium plate fins
mechanically bonded to seamless copper tubing.
Coil shall be tested at 2760kPag air pressure while submerged in water.
Coil shall be fed by capillary tubes (50PVB090 to 250) and thermostatic expansion
valve (50PV300 to 965).
EVAPORATOR AIR FAN
Evaporator air fan shall be capable of delivery _____l/s of air with an external
static pressure of _____Pa or greater.
Evaporator air fan shall be centrifugal forward curved and direct driven (50PVB090
to 125) or belt driven (50PVB200 to 250 and 50PV300 to 965) by a motor of
nominal _____kW when operating at _____rpm.
Motor shall be factory supplied with 3 speed direct driven motor (50PVB090 &
125) or 1 speed TEFC type motor (50PVB200 to 250 and 50PV300 to 965).
ACCESSORIES
Optional air plenum for free blow option is available for 50PVB090 & 125.
Optional 2 filter media is available for 50PV750 & 965.
