FILM PROPERTIES
Chemical Resistance

Resistant to mild chemical fume attack but where there is heavy attack, e.g. actual
contact with chemicals, special paint system are recommended.

Heat Resistance

Generally resistant to heat up to 90 OC, but some discoloration of light colours may
occur at temperatures above 80OC.

Water Resistance

Resistant to the levels of atmospheric humidity present in normal interior and

exterior environments and will with stand repeated washing. Not suitable for use
on immersed surfaces.
Pigment: Lightfast Non Lead Pigments

SURFACE PREPARATION

New Paint

New surfaces must be clean, dry and free from all defective or poorly adhering
material. Such as dirt grease wax etc. Remove any rust or scaling from the surface
with a suitable sandpaper. Apply a coat of Kansai Red Oxide Primer or Zinc
Phosphate Primer. Let the surface dry overnight. Scuff (wet or dry as the conditions
allow) the surface, dust off and clean residual powder with petrol or turpentine
dampened cloth.

Repaint for sound surface

If the surface is sound and intact, gently scuff the surface with a fine water proof
sandpaper, dust off and clean the residual powder with petrol or turpentine
dampened cloth.

Repaint For Powdery, Dusty Remove any loosely adhering material with the help of a scraper, suitable sandpaper
Surface, Cracks and Other Surface or wire brush. Apply a coat of Kansai Red Oxide Primer or Zinc Phosphate Primer.
Let the surface dry over night. Scuff the surface dust off and petrol wipe.
Defects
Galvanized and Aluminum Surface

New galvanized surface should be cleaned and degreased. Then pre-treat the
surface with an appropriate pretreatment primer to ensure good adhesion. A coat of
Kansai Red Oxide Primer with further improve the adhesion.

Finishing

Apply 2 or more subsequent coats of Kansai Economy Enamel. Stir thoroughly

before use.

INFORMATION

The product contains white spirit. Ensure adequate ventilation and lighting.
The product is flammable, keep away from source of ignition.
Keep windows and doors opened at all times. Dont use in confined spaces
Keep container tightly closed and out of the reach of children
When applying paint it is advisable to wear eye protection
In case of contact with eyes rinse immediately with water and seek medical assistance
To remove splashes of paint from skin use water and soap or a recognized cleaner
Avoid contact with skin, it may cause sensitization. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking
If inhalation causes physical discomfort, move to fresh air
It is harmful if swallowed. In case of ingestion, seek immediate medical advice
In the event of spillage, contain and collect spillage using sand and soil
Dont empty into drains or water courses
Dont use empty container for food storage

Protect the product from extreme of temperatures
