think Im right? Am I?

Ferdinand Zandro A. Salonga

everything in this world is balanced by right or wrong. Or is it really?

Chaotic movement that creates a foundation for a basis between importance and
survival surrounds the system with the flow of darkness, and redeems the
reciprocity by inner light. The balance of which people are devoted for creating
between right and wrong is about survival and emotional desires.

we tend to say we are right when we feel it is the right thing to do, sometimes we
reason out that as long as we are not hurting other people, and no person is being
defied, then we must be right. Other people would say that they are right just
because they follow the rules of god. If you are going to follow the rules, then your
soul will be saved and you will be able to reach the unending happiness. As long as
they follow as what is indicated on the religious invocation, then they must be right.
Other people would say that they are right by following the cultures and old belief -
for it is the old beliefs and cultures that allowed them to survive through the
decades. They have been able to surpass all the obstacles because of the cultures
that their grandfathers thought them. They have survived, then they must be right.

Then who is wrong?

When you feel that you are being denied of the things that you want to have, or the
things you need to have? Is it already considered wrong? Perhaps, yes. Or no. will it
now depend on the constitutions of certain states that would determine that you are
wrong or right just because it is decided, criticized and created by the intelligent
people?

Would one also be considered wrong if he would believe in gods of other religions?
Would be one’s soul still be saved if he doesn’t believe in another’s god as stated on
their religious books? Would one still be wrong if his cultures are different from
another’s?
One’s belief from his parents and their teachings help one throughout his life. But is
it out of his culture and belief? Would one be now considered wrong? When all
things have gone out, would one still be wrong? When one say you are wrong, does
it already mean that he is right? Would you consider one as right when they say
that by following one’s belief that you will be saved?

To be more practical, allow me, the writer, to use a simpler example: You loved me,
but I hurt you. Just because I don’t love you back, does that mean that I am wrong?
Just because I don’t listen to my heart, am I already wrong?

Separation of right and wrong will not depend whether it is good or bad, nor upon
the intelligent people who created the basis of constitutions. Just because it makes
you happy doesn't mean that you are already right. It does not depend on religious
content in a set of holiness nor in a majority of cultures and belief of positivity would
make it right. It is still a question that scholars are finding the adequate answer. Or
maybe we are never going to be able to distinguish which is right or wrong.

Maybe we are looking at it in a different way. It might be the reason why we can
never find the answers. There are some feelings that are thought to be right,
perhaps only trying to reach the happiness that you never had. Even the majority of
people would say you are wrong, you would still intend to do it because it gives you
the sense of love and passion, a reason for the drive and motivation to keep going.

There are some invocations in general religions that is said to be right. A belief that
one will be saved and everything would be alright if they would just pray. Some
people would say that one’s religion have no right to pray because his beliefs are
wrong, he would still intend to do it because it gives one the sense of faith and
peace - a reason for him to hope and never give up in every circumstances that life
would give.

There are some cultures and beliefs that is thought to be right because it is keeping
you alive and healthy. Some people would say that you are wrong and will never
survive. You would still intend to keep faith on your own belief and culture because
it gives you the sense of values and uniqueness - a reason for you to strive for
survival and create your own identification as an individual.

There are some constitutional regulations that is right because it gives diplomacy to
every individual to gain respect. Some people would say that it is wrong and it is
keeping your freedom. You still intend to continue to follow because it gives you the
sense of pride and justice - a reason for you to be dignified in every aspect of your
life.

Maybe, we can’t find the answer because the answer is within us. We are only
looking for right and wrong only to feel the fulfillment of temporary desires. We
want to be important because we wanted to feel the sense of belonging. We follow
a certain criteria for us to avoid to hurting other people.

Wrong will always be there, negative will stay the same, defying of each and every
goal you want to have. It would always be there to give you the imagination of
impossibility. Obstacles will always be ready to weaken your urge to survive. Fear
would be setting its own goals for you not to survive. All these are going to stay,
because they are part of the system of life, to complete the circle of balance and
customize your destiny with the touch of God.

Wellness of each and every individual is not exactly from what is right and wrong. It
is somehow the balance of all aspects of your desires towards the rationality of
being individual - having the unique ability to express the values of passion of
unconditional love which drives you to be more mature and understanding of your
limitations; to have peace within your inner self for you to overcome such obstacles
by having the undoubted faith and hope to God for you to keep the motivation and
drive to defy the impossibility that hinders you off of pride to experience life.

Right and wrong will not depend on how to cope with life. It is about the balance of
your good and evil desires while reaching the satisfaction of complete happiness –
whether it is right or wrong.
