XI- Objectives: We teach integral calculus and differential equations in this course. Students embarking on such courses
diverse to different core subjects- engineering (EEE, chemical, civil, architectural), -computer (COE, CSE, CIS) engineeringlike those in UK and USA.
We have therefore decided and constituted a course syllabus that assume knowledge only of material that can be expected to
be familiar to all the current generation of students starting physical science and engineering courses at universities.
We aimed at building up a basic foundation of mathematical precision and tools essential for growing engineers and also the
hierarchy of mathematical materials for engineers of research in future.
Teaching Strategy: The general aim of our pedagogy is staged in three phases- first is a qualitative introduction from a
physical point of view,- second is a formal presentation avoiding deliberately the mathematical tougher materials on the
ground that- This is the real world; we must behave reasonably. Finally we worked out some problems fully drawn from
physical science and engineering.
