Q. Can I sell the new promotional appliance bundles to my existing NetBackup customers?
A. Existing Symantec NetBackup customers cannot purchase the promotional appliance
bundles. You are targeting new Symantec NetBackup customers.
Q. How many NetBackup appliance bundles can I sell?
A. Promotional prices are offered on a one-time deal only basis and do not apply to future
NetBackup appliance purchases, upgrades or renewals. There is no limit on the number
of promotion deals you can sell neither is there a limit on the appliance promotion bundles
you can offer in a single deal.
Q. Can I request additional discount on promotional bundles?
A. No further discretionary discount is considered on top of your negotiated channel
discount percentage.
Q. Can I quote the promotional appliance bundle in a solution where my customer
needs to protect (for example) 30 Terabytes of data?
A. You may combine the promotional SKU with the standard NetBackup and
NetBackup Appliance SKUs.
