Christs School students performed well at the Putney Town Regatta on 16th May. J15 Coxed Quad (with Henry Scheibli & Seb Castedo) beat St Pauls Boys J15W Coxed Quad (with Molly Taylor & India Lawrence) beat Godolphin & Latymer J15 Double (with Henry Scheibli) beat Kings Wimbledon by six lengths! The next event is Mortlake Regatta on 13th June, then Kingston on 13th July - good luck guys!

The Junior Rounders team were in great form
this week to beat St. Richard Reynolds 12-8. Congratulations to player of the match, Lucy Blitz, who scored 2 rounds!
University Summer Schools
Two of our Sixth Form have gained places at Sussex University Summer School this August. Megan McHugh will be attending Explore, History on 23rd - 27th August and Abdeslam Cherkaoui will be attending Discover, Biology on 16th - 20th August. All of the Sixth Form students have been encouraged to take part in academic experiences outside of school. During the last year there were some 40+ opportunities for them ranging from a day at Credit Suisse, residential at Oxford University, engineering master classes and a visit to Diamond Light Source. Several Sixth Formers are waiting to hear back about Summer school places and we will publish these as they come in.

Middlesex Athletics Track
& Field Championships
The following students have all
been selected to represent Richmond Borough at the Winner of Global Social Leader Bursary Middlesex Athletics Track & Field Championships in Hendon on Congratulations to Lada Zhdanova who has won a bursary to attend the Global Social Leaders course at Wellington College in Tuesday 23rd June: August. This flagship programme brings together 100 young people from
around the world to exchange ideas, consider different
leadership models and discuss how they can make a positive impact on their local community. Lada will work with
experienced facilitators in a combination of workshops, activities
and excursions, and will hear from inspiring speakers from the UK
and beyond who will share their own experience of social
change. We are delighted for Lada, and look forward to hearing about the course next term.
