Mission Statement: CASE aims to be a foundry of learning that forms the youth to become artists, scientists, educators, scholars, and leaders who are intellectually and emotionally mature, morally upright,
highly skilled, and globally competitive.
Goals of the College:
1. Act as agents of change towards the development of the community and people;
2. Spearhead scholastic researches and studies;
3. Lead others to Christ by example through a life of modesty, discipline, transparency, and integrity;
4. Offer programs that would address the development needs of the community, the region, and the nation, where technology is sustainable, cost-effective, theory process developed, ethics bound, demonstrating
best practices in teacher education and leadership across the various fields of discipline;

Learning Outcomes: The General Education Curriculum of Aquinas University of Legazpi aims at providing students all the opportunities to comprehend, appreciate, and personify the ideal Catholic, Filipino, and
Bicol identity. The broad domains of the GE curriculum also endeavor to form in the Aquinian student the following attributes:
1. dedicated and persevering in the pursuit of academic excellence and moral integrity;
2. fervent in prayer, in witnessing, in sharing, and in empathizing with people;
3. emotionally mature, welcomes diversity, respects the ideas and opinions of others, and works effectively in a group;

This course covers the development of communicative competence in English with emphasis on effective reading and writing and listening skills. It is designed to
develop language learning strategies, effective communication techniques, and academic study skills. Lessons and activities involved in development of oral and
written communication skills in different social contexts, reading skills enhancement, and effective use of reference and resources.
Eng 100 (for those who failed the AUCAT English Examination)
At the end of the course, the students should have appropriated the grammatical concepts which link function and form/structure to meaning within communicative
contexts; constructed sentences with correct grammatical structure; and developed analytic competence in using tools of grammatical analysis to improve abilities in
other areas, such as critical thinking, writing, and editing.
At the end of the term, the students should have:
1. used various library resources and other sources of information;
2. developed their reading comprehension skills;
3. enhanced their listening skills;
4. enriched their vocabulary and diction;
5. determined the parts of speech and their function/s in the sentence;
6. mastered the basic rules of subject and verb agreement;
7. improved their writing skills; and
8. developed a strong sense of belongingness in the AUL community.
