General remarks

For the creation of a Service System on a USB-Stick the following procedure should be used:
1. Copy the above mentioned Service System files into a folder on the local hard disk of a computer.
2. Insert the 512 MB USB-Stick into the USB-interface of the computer.
3. Using the Windows-Explorer find out the attributed drive letter for the
USB-Sticks, e.g. H
4. Open the DOS-prompt and go to the folder which contains the files for
Service System.
5. At the DOS-prompt key in the following command:
installdisk verbose blocksize 1m linuxbase-512M.img h:
Result:
The image will be copied to the USB-Stick and a partition for Linux as
well as a FAT32-partition for Windows systems is created.
6. Remove the USB-Stick and re-insert.
Result:
After completion a bootable Service System will have been created on
the USB-Stick.
